For the spotter arms, the highest setting puts their top surface at 74 cm. **Q: Can you change the spotter arms and replace them with longer ones?** A: No. This only comes with one pair of spotter arms. If they were longer, there would be a danger of the barbell overhanging the base and the stands falling over unless you bolted them to the floor. As it is, you have to be quite mindful when lowering the barbell back onto the arms. **Q: I'm looking at these stands for the performance of stiff legged deadlift, can the spotter arms be lowered enough to allow this exercise?
