New One Smart Dimmer Plug, 2.4G Wi-Fi Dimmable Smart Plug, 2-Way Switch, Voice Control, White

I have an old table lamp that was on an Amazon smart plug, but I wanted to be able to dim it (TV watching) and brighten it (reading). First I bought the Levitron smart dimmer plug ($10 more). After several hours of messing around, I could not get it to work. I was unable to get it to link to my wifi, I kept getting messages that the wifi was not strong enough. So I decided to return it and bought this one instead ($10 cheaper). The written directions that came with it were such small print as to be almost unreadable (I have 70-year-old eyes!) and difficult to understand. Maybe they were written by someone translating Chinese into English using Google. Anyway, I managed to download the app, and then tossed the directions aside. I followed the steps in the app, and then opened my Alexa app and followed the instructions there, and presto! everything is linked up and it works like a charm. I can turn it on and off with commands to my Alexa, and dim it to any level 1-100%. I am very pleased.

These plugs are fantastic! We needed an easy way to dim a display shelving unit with Alexa and these plugs are perfect. They're small, which meant they could be hidden away, and they linked up to our Alexa App with minimal effort. Plus they react instantly when we ask them to perform their duties. We love them, and so do our guests! Definitely recommend these for anyone looking for an easy way to create a dimmable environment.

I had a houseful of Insteon controllers for 10 years until they went belly up and I switched to Kasa-TP Link after a lot of research. Now I have a houseful of Kasa switches, plugs & bulbs to control 30 devices. I have 4 can lights on a single switch and I wanted to switch them separately so I needed a dimming module that would fit inside the can light. Kasa does not sell a dimming plug so after tons of research I chose the "New One" product line. This was a good choice. It fits inside the can, literally dims from 0 to 100%, and seems to be very well made. For those that are wondering, I converted one of the cans to a spotlight using a can version kit and an LED spotlight to light up a piece of artwork. In order to dim it I screwed a "socket-to-plug adapter" FROM the fixture INTO the dimming module and a "plug-to-socket adapter" from the dimming module to the light. Kinda crazy but it's safe and it works.

I bought this plug in order to try to turn a ceiling light into a plug in lamp that I could dim. It was perfect for the occasion, allowing for seamless voice control and dimming capabilities. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that is looking to use it for a light source, however, if you are just looking for a smart plug, look elsewhere as there are better smart plugs on the market that simply turn on and off when prompted via an AI tool. I have another plug, a Weembo, that is great at just turning on and off.

Bought three of these to add some much needed mood lighting to our living room standing lamps. Much better than buying expensive smart bulbs! We just tell our smart speaker to set the living room lights to 10% and we have a nice environment for watching movies. Just make sure your bulbs support dimming!

Couldn't get these to work with Alexa. The software to run the bulbs would not connect to Alexa at all. I sent them back and got the Kasa Outdoor Dimmable plug and they worked in 2 minutes out of the box.

After a little over 1 year, it stopped working. It still lights up, and you can toggle power manually with the physical button, but it is not being recognized by the app any longer and will not enter pairing mode so i can re-pair it with the app. It appears that its radio has died, making it useless. Prior to failing, it worked well controlling the LED lights I installed in my bookshelves with no blinking during dimming. The sad thing is, even knowing the product has quality control problems, I'll probably buy another one because I cannot find another plug dimmer.

Used Smart Life App with this Dimmer. It automatically connected and set itself up with Alexa. My only interaction was to rename it. It was up and running in less than 10 minutes and so far is working flawlessly with a 16 watt undercounter LED 110v dimmable light fixture, on/off, different dim settings 20%, 50% 70%, etc. No comment on instructions, Smart Life app is so simple, I did not read them.

Excelente para una bombilla atenuable. Lo usé para una lámpara Ikea Flottilj y funcionó de maravilla. Se conectó a Alexa casi al instante y funciona desde la aplicación de Smart Home

Buscaba un enchufe que tuviera dimmer para una lámpara led que tengo para mi acuario, no funciona perfecto y suave en la transición del brillo, pero por lo menos si me ayudó a bajar la intensidad de dicha lámpara, que era lo que yo requería. La aplicación para el celular es buena y muy fácil de programar.

Funciona adecuadamente tal y como se publica, la función de dimmer es muy util lo he probado con focos leds e incandescentes sin problema
