I love this book. Eric Metaxes has so many important things to say to the American Church so that we don’t make the same mistakes that were made in the past. We want to make sure that people are not harmed and the message of Christ is presented in a fearless Christian manner. Affirmative and Good Reading.

Eric Metaxas parallels the events of the early 30s and rise of Adolf Hitler to the present time in America. He is sounding the alarm to all pastors but it is their responsibility to hear it and inform their parishioners.

This is a great book, written by a gifted writer. Easy to read and understand. A must read for all Christians las well as anyone wanting answers for our present position in the world with historical evidence of what is to come !

This is an incredibly prophetic book speaking to our time by looking at the lessons we SHOULD learn from looking back at WW II Germany. It's excellently written and is a quick read. Also buy the Study Guide and use in a study in your church. While you're at it, buy a copy for each of your elders. The time for the Church to sand up and address the evils of our society is now, and if we remain silent, like the German Church, our nation will be lost ... just like Germany in the 1930s/40s.

Our society is in the trash can. Like mold, it won't get better by itself. Eric calls us to our feet...not just to our knees. We CAN fix this. But only if you want to. Cars only run by themselves downhill. Get back behind the wheel and turn things around by urging your church that being passive and not being " political" is NOT our calling. We must be TAUGHT a biblical response to this chaos. And our churches can no longer ignore the hell that's being created. We must speak in love but definitely SPEAK. And vote your biblical teaching. Jesus turned the tables over when he found corruption. Christians do the same by voting, being the example and being truthful in a loving way.

Very well researched elevates this book from being an excuse to write a book to revealing stark realities. God is in control and we are Jesus’ ambassadors on this earth.

A great update and application of Germany's failure juxtaposed to America today. Must read. Highly encouraged to get into the hands of as many as you can.
