I purchased this safe for the purpose of taking a firearm on the airplane with me when I travel. It works perfect. I can put my gun in the safe and then the safe in a checked bag or just check the safe on its own with no checked bags if I want to. It makes it easy and worry free and there are no problems or added complications with the airlines. As long as I follow the federal statutes and the airlines guidelines everything goes smooth. So make sure you read all of the laws if you choose to purchase this item to use in a similar manner. When I’m not traveling I keep it in my nightstand next to the bed with my home defense weapon in it for quick, silent, and easy access. We don’t have any small children around anymore but if I did I would be completely comfortable with the knowledge that this unit would keep any curious youngsters from being able to access my firearm without permission. It’s a great unit at a reasonable price. The access push button code and finger print access both work perfect. And I keep the keys in my big gun safe as a 3rd entry option. Oh. And as a side note, I have a desert eagle 50 AE that fits in it with room to spare. So it easily fits a very large handgun or you can fit two small ones in it (Glock 26, and Glock 42). I am not going to test it for obvious reasons but I’m confident that it would be extremely difficult to open this safe without the code or the key. So with that said, this unit would be a perfect addition to ANY household where you want or need quick, easy, silent access to a weapon but also having it totally secure from curious youngsters.

The safe is a great product. It has biometric scanner for fingerprints that work like a charm. I even programmed it to take the print side of my hand . No one will ever think to use that part of ya hand as an option. Then I asked 5 different ppl to try n open it n they couldn't. So the scanner works well. Also it gives u humidity and temperature of the inside of the safe in case u have anything dat is moisture n temperature sensitive. Also it has a dial pad in with u can make up n save up to 100 codes. The led display also has a clock on it to keep the time a cable to tether it to anything. U can also bolt it to the floor. N if it was to run out of battery u can use one of the 2 keys it brings or even use a C type charger cable to give it power n open it up. I am 100% satisfied n I'm gonna be buying two more. Cuz the price is incredibly cheap for the performance it gives n compared to other biometric scanner safes

This gun safe arrived fast and had all of the parts inside. The safe came with four batteries, steel cable, screws and a detailed owner’s manual written in easy to read English and diagrams to make operating the safe easy. The digital clock, battery level and humidity/temperature gauges are a great bonus feature built into the safe. I was mostly impressed with the fingerprint reader which is the most accurate one I’ve ever used with an electronic device. Just one reading per finger was all I needed to open the safe. This is a good feeling to have when the firearm becomes necessary quickly. I store my carry out items in the safe so I never misplace my keys or wallet. The six number combination lock is firm and has no leeway in the key’s entry. The fingerprint reader glows from red to green when access is granted. I have two more safes on my list for birthday and Christmas gifts for my father and my best friend. The quality and build of this gun safe made it an easy choice for a great gift idea. Great price, easy to program, would recommend to others

Safe is great and easy to set up, fingerprint recognition has been working great as well. The only problem we are experiencing is once it’s open, it won’t close and stay shut, almost like it doesn’t catch and the lid keeps popping open. If you keep trying it eventually catches and closes. That’s the only trouble otherwise great.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT SMALL GUN SAVE FOR NEAR YOUR BED, IT HOLDS AT LEAST 2 PISTOLS, 9 MM AND 40 MM IS WHAT I HAVE ALONG WITH 2 EXTRA CLIPS LOADED, ITS WORKS GREAT AND IS SMALL SO YOU CAN KEEP YOUR 'LAMP AND OTHER ITEMS ON YOU NIGHTSTAND WITH THE CASE, IT WORKS WITH COMBINATION LOCK OR FINGEPRINT'S TO OPEN, AND IT HAS A CABLE TO ATTACH IT TO YOUR BEDFRAME OR NIGHT STAND,

I use this in my office so I don't have my piece poking into me or my office chair but it still keeps it accessible if necessary. Works Good, functions like it should, fits all my EDC's. Easy to setup, reasonable price point, fingerprint works Good (I always load the same finger 3-5 times), and it looks clean on a desk or in a drawer.
