Great little coffee table! I'm actually quite impressed with the quality. I have put together other pieces with similar hardware. It took probably about two hours, as other reviews have stated. The instructions are sparse, but mostly clear illustrations BUT BEWARE ON STEP 6!! I was doing fine until I didn't notice the orientation of board 3. I thought it was the same either way and didn't notice the hole that is supposed to go toward the bottom per the picture. Not realizing, I placed it with the hole at the top and when I went to screw in the top piece(which ends up being the bottom, but you're putting it together upside down) the screw was just spinning and I thought the hole was drilled too big. Ended up a whole thing, but thankfully my husband noticed the hole and we were able to take off the large piece, and orient board 3 the correct way. Proceeded without any other problems. SO! As long as you take the time to really pay attention to the pictures in the manual, you should be good to go. I put it together mostly myself, with a little help from my son screwing in some pieces. I read other reviews that said they used a power drill. I used a manual philips head screwdriver and was fine- sure my hands got a little tired. If you're comfortable with power tools, go for it, but I'd be a little worried about drilling too far and cracking the pieces. It is very sturdy. The hydraulic pieces come put together, you only have to screw them to the boards, which is a little awkward, but not hard. I did that part by myself, perhaps a second pair of hands would have made it even easier. I really love the look of it. The inside storage is spacious. I didn't realize when I ordered it that the outer shelves are divided in the middle so you have a little shelf on each side, rather than one deep shelf on one side. I actually prefer it this way, I think the shelves are plenty deep with the divider in the middle. As far as longevity, it will be interesting to see how it holds up. I am getting some coasters so we can try to keep it from getting wet. I know this kind of material doesn't like getting wet. With a house full of kids, not sure how long we can keep it looking as nice as it looks now. But for the price, I'm really happy with the quality. Everything needed to put it together was provided. It came well packaged, no missing parts. As I was putting it together I used the Styrofoam pieces to protect it from getting scratches. Overall, I would recommend this piece, especially for a smaller space. We have a long narrow living room, so the rectangular shape instead of a square works well for our space.

This coffee table is perfect and affordable. One thing I tell people is to always purchase amazon furniture. Good quality and good prices. This was easy to put together the instructions are clear and if you need a video to follow along they have a detailed video. Has storage in the front and back along with the hidden compartment. Very stable and easy to move around. Only thing I will say is that the “wood” seems to stain easily. If we put a cold water on it it seems to stain. Of course its easy to clean with some wipes. Overall good purchase

I love the look of my table! It was sort of easy to put together except i put a piece on backwards and had an unscrew.It and put it on the right way other than that.It was good and I love how it opens, and you can store stuff in it.And it has stickers, so you can cover up the screws.So nobody can see the screws and yeah, and it keeps my kids out of my things.Where I can hide it from them?And it's like very nice tabme corners are sharp dough.So I recommend getting some, like soft stuff for the corners.If you have younger children. Very stable no wobbly. Easy to wipe clean. Opens and shut perfectly nice and slow.

I do like this coffee table. I was able to assemble it in an hour and 15 minutes. It would have been faster if I had assistance. The one place you really need assistance is in attaching the hydraulic lifts. It is quite difficult to keep them in place and get the screws started. I did use a pillow to prop them as I attached them and I did a few contortionist moves, but I got it done with no help. If you can have a helper, do have someone to just hold pieces while you insert screws. The instructions were better than with many RTA pieces. Do pay close attention to the orientation of boards. Everything worked well and all the pieces fit together nicely. I used an electric drill/screwdriver for some of the screws. This helps particularly when attaching the lifts and the table leg attachments. The manual screwdriver that is included is okay, but if you have one with a fatter handle, it will be kinder to your hands.

I love my table! It is exactly what I wanted. It has plenty of storage space. It was very easy to assemble and the directions were spot on. Everything arrived in perfect condition with all needed parts. It is very sturdy and very pretty. The price is great for the quality that you receive. The wood grain finish is very believable. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

I really like this table. No issues so far. The top opens up slowly and feels like there is weight to it which makes me feel more comfortable when I open and close it. It doesn't slam down which is good. It looks pretty nice too, and is big and spacious inside. For the price it's a really good and affordable table. No scratches yet, the color matches the listing and it seems pretty durable so far.

Took about 2 hours to put together with a regular screwdriver. Wouldn’t recommend using the one that comes with the hardware- gave me blisters. I switched to my own screwdriver halfway through. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Seems sturdy. I like the storage spaces. Arrived without nicks, dents, or scratches. I was able to assemble alone for the most part. Only needed a hand to flip it on to its legs once the main part was assembled. Good item for the price.

This turned out nice and was not too difficult to put together. It took a good 2-3 hours though. Instructions were fairly easy to understand. BEWARE of the step where you attach the brackets for the top to raise though. It says to be careful that they have to be put on a certain way but there is really no directions as to be sure. I had it almost all put together until I realized something was wrong. I had to go back and take some parts apart and redo once I saw how it was supposed to be. This could have been avoided if it had been marked better. Otherwise, nice for the price.

Product is overall good. Assembly is very easy with good instructions. Some holes are a bit too big which prevent some pieces to be tight enough (see photo) : need to be careful when moving it to avoid having some pieces staying in your hand. It also arrived with a couple of small dents.
