So far we are pleased with this compost bin. We appreciate the larger size for a bigger family, and have not noticed any odors. After the first use I washed it since something had molded a little, and it washed up very easily.

Excellent product and the usual Amazon quick and precisely on time delivery. New York City has undertaken composting for apartment buildings, mainly food scraps. So the container contains smells, is easy to clean, and easy to transport to the basement of an apartment building for the very much larger building compost bins. We are finally catching up to Tokyo and Seoul. Rotting things in the garbage outside attract all sorts of nuisances. These small containers are inexpensive too.

Love this green waste container! We had mistakenly discarded out old re-purposed plastic one. This is MUCH better in every way: neater, cleaner, odorless, attractive, and efficient. Also it’s a great color! Quality construction, snug lid. We also purchased the compostable bags recommended with it. Very much easier thus way. Love it!

I needed a new countertop bin and this was the right size. I hoped the strainer at the bottom was removable but it's not. I don't need my kitchen scraps strained because I empty it all into my compost bin and the strainer is just a nuisance. Also don't like the lid, which is awkward to pull up. My previous one had a hinged lid with a tab to lift it.Otherwise, it seems to be well made and I like the size.
