Unfortunately, my letters disappeared before I could put them in this. I opened the box and laid everything out on my desk to check it out. I would like to note here that, yes, the letter sheets were included, and yes they were there as I studied them carefully before laying them on the desk. It disassembled very easily and came with everything needed including a small screwdriver to remove and replace the screws. It should be noted the screws are VERY small. I didnt have time to set everything up as we were having a kids birthday party and the children were arriving so, believing noone would be going into the room where my desk was at, I left everything laying as I had it. I was wrong. At some point during the party the sheets with the letters all disappeared. All of them. So now I am forced to make a choice since apparently you cannot purchase the letter sheets without buying the whole thing. I have found some seed phrase backups similar to this one that are priced cheaper. But I like this one. I have reached out to ellipal to see if they will sell me just the letter sheets. I am waiting for their reply before making a decision on how to proceed, whether buying a whole new one (of which I will purchase the similar cheaper option), or what.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT. EASY TO SET UP AND READ. YOU ONLY NEED THE FIRST 4 LETTERS OF YOUR SEED PHRASE PEOPLE!! Not the entire word. Research the seed phrase list. No words duplicate the first 4 letters. The box clearly states you need the first 4 letters. The ONLY THING I wish was different about the product was I wish it had outside locking screws. I could care less about the lock loop but its a great product. Easy to engrave on also. The sale price makes it worth while otherwise I would not pay full price. There are others to choose from at 30 dollar price points. Dont pay 70.00

Not bad. Pretty small. Only 4 screws per side. Being small makes it difficult to work with. The one about the size of a deck of cards has 12 screws each side and easy to place. Took me longer to do Ellipal with less screws. Difficult trying to put the small tile in the right spot is a challenge and moving a tile even harder

After assembling this it’s exactly as advertised, what they don’t tell you is that unless you’re a watch maker or a surgeon… you’ll probably experience various levels of anxiety during your set up. Otherwise this is a great product. It’s just much smaller than I anticipated, which directly impacts the assembly process. The cover screws: they’re not just small… they’re ITTY BITTY. If you don’t wear glasses, you’re gonna want to grab some readers and a lighted magnifying lens. Luckily I had both. They do supply spare screws. I used the foam packing tray in the box to hold the screws while assembling. It’s black and is perfect for containment of the itty bitty screws. Plus it’s black and provides much needed contrast for keeping up with them. The letters: They’re pretty small. They’re laid out in 4 sheets with clear adhesive film on front and back. DO NOT REMOVE THE BACK SHEET, just the front. You’ll see why. You’re going to want some tweezers and a small pick for picking up the individual letter tiles from the clear film and placing them in the recessed tile holders. Assembly: you’re going to want plenty of light and ZERO noise or distractions. Be very deliberate when placing your letter tiles. Once you have a section full, it’s nearly impossible to remove a tile to make a correction without dumping out any other tiles and having to start over. If I had to do it again, and I will… I’ll use masking tape or painters tape to remove tiles to make corrections. Once you’re done… you definitely feel like a WHALE😎

Sturdy, heavy enough that you wouldn't want to drop on your foot. Has a little hole where you can maybe lock it, I used it to zip tie it to a server rack. To assemble, you need a decent amount of dexterity. Between the little tiles and small screws, you'll need tweezers or good dexterity to get it all together and some free time to assemble. The letters nest into little slots and are held in by a top plate that screws on. Without disassembly, I don't see how this could come apart accidentally or shift to where the letters are scrambled.

This product is not as advertised. Most seed words are 5 letters so don’t fit in their required location. Absolutely pointless item, expensive and is not fit for purpose. Do not buy.
