I used this for compression and to control swelling after abdominal surgery, from weeks 2-6. I bought several binders and this was by far the best one. I'm short, so this was tall enough to cover my hips and upper torso. The elastic straps let you put more pressure onto your adbomen as needed. I wore this to a follow up appointment, and my surgeon was very pleased with how this binder functioned.

I received this after having a hysterectomy. The belt is great and held my abdomen very snugly. However, its width (tallness) was too big for my torso. My torso, from my bra line to my pelvic bone, is about 8", and I'm 5'2" tall. It went down over my hips too much and wasn't uncomfortable. A taller person may not have a problem! Otherwise, it was nicely made, and I would recommend it! I did return this item.

This is probably the best item I have purchased Ina long time. I had bruised my ribs from a fall a nd wearing this item allowed me to move without pain for 6 weeks. Great product!

I purchased this to replace the one given to me at the hospital after my back surgery. I still need to stay bound for 3 months afterwards. It looked good. It was comfortable. I wore it 20-22 hours a day. I received on Jan 18 and it lasted 11 days, then ripped down the side. So longevity it does NOT have. Maybe yours will be better than mine. I'm off to find another.

I purchased this for supporting my back as a caregiver for my 92 year old mom who had a stroke. It is wide enough to support my lower and upper back, is easy to put on, and comfortable for many hours of use.
