looks good
Pretty easy to do and turned out great considering. I didn't want to spend alot of money on a head mount from the taxidermist so i'm happy with this. Would recommend and will probably make another one for my next buck.

Professional Looks
As other reviewers have mentioned, if you take your time with this, you can make an impressive looking mount for your antlers. It's a little tedious, but in the end, it looks good.

Easy to use and looks good
Nice mount fairly easy to use, I'm not too crazy about the rubber skull cap. I wish it was some other material. Overall it's easy to use and looks good.

Plaques are REAL wood and are easy to assemble and mount your antlers to.
The wood for this plaque is real walnut. The cover for the skull plate was some type of rubberized material, which made it easy to trim and fit up over the skull plate and mount to the plaque. After drilling holes thru the skull plate, I located them on the plaque and marked the hole locations. I then pre-drilled small thru-holes, which made installing the skull plate mounting screws much easier. I have already purchased both the walnut and oak mounting kits and I spent about 1/2 hour on each one. The results are great and I will be ordering a couple more.

Not for Elk Antlers
This is not big enough for elk antlers, good quality and seems like it would work for a deer.

Disappointing
It is a little disappointing that I have to cut it for my antlers. It would be better if it was pre-cut. Other than that, it’s great.
