I have used this many times now since purchasing and it works great for me. I bought a smaller size, works great for 5x5 squares or swatches. All the pins fit in the holes nicely. I didn't see any chips or rough spots around the pin holes. Came with many pins to hold your work. I would recommend.

easy enough to use, but can't put a lot of pieces for blocking at once because the steel rods are flimsy and bend. I have to put sturdy blocks of whatever I have on hand that fits inside the blocking area to stretch the top so all my squares get stretched/blocked the same size.I did order a second set (coming today) so I can put the second base on the top and insert the tops of the steel rods into the same holes as on the base board, then tie the whole thing together with a long ribbon.Also, the steel rods are just cut and barely sanded...my work keeps catching on the edges when I put them on so I have to be extra careful to not pull any threads. All in all, decent enough for my purpose.Update...the second board just came so I put it on top like I said I would and it's near perfect now :) Don't have enough squares right now to block but once it's filled up and threatening to pop off the top, I'll tie them with ribbon.

This board works well and even though it's small in size I prefer it due to space constraints. I have found that you can stack 16 to 18 squares on it at a time. The price was awesome too compared to others. Good quality and fits my needs, also looks good on my desk.

The board itself was nice…however, it was missing the “rods”

I had wanted one for blocking for years and as a beginner crocheter I didn’t realize how important it would be to use this. It has changed my project quality by leaps and bounds!

Works great, and comes with plenty of nails:)
