TROCOTN Dementia Clock, Digital Clock with Date and Day for Elderly Use, Large Display with Auto-Dimming for Bedroom and Living Room (7 Inches White)

Bought this for the outlaws who are in their mid and late 90s, this has helped a lot as they were both constantly asking each other the day, date or time! The display is nice, bright and clear, it does keep good accurate time (unless they fiddle with it, which has happened twice!) but it's very easy to reset, with plenty of functions to choose from. I think it was a great buy and good value as it has a power supply no need for batteries! So looks good, good price and the outlaws were pleased!

Bought for my mother. Large display is easy for her to read and the alarms are ideal to remind her to take meds. Also tells her what part of the day it is - useful when she gets up in the night confused. Easy to set up and a very useful buy.

Excellent very clear and bold,very easy to set up as I got the instructions out to programme it but when I plugged it in the screen came on instantly with the correct date etc,brilliant for our mum who as dementia and extra convenient as I didn’t have to set it up,we wall mounted it but also came with a stand if you did not want it on the wall

Bought this for elderly mother. It is great, she can easily see the time, day, date as it has a large easy to read screen.

Didn't know what to expect however the clock is really good quality. Very easy to set up, connect to power then set the time. You get a choice of colors so when you get fed up with one colour easy to do. Perfect !

A nice big, clear screen, and came already set to the correct time so I'll assume there won't be any timekeeping issues going forward. There's a power button on the back, as well as a Menu button and a group of others for navigating the menus. It couldn't really be easier to use. It comes with a stand, which is just a plastic rod (about the size of an old WiFi router antenna) that screws into the back. I don't know how durable that's going to be and I think it's a daft place to cut corners when something more robust would have been better and probably not added to the cost. The other thing is the instructions. While they explain the menu settings fairly well, they make no mention of the other mysterious ports and their reason for being there. Specifically there's a USB-A port, Micro USB, as well as what appears to be an SD memory card slot. It seems very odd that they'd go to the trouble of having those things there, but not bother mentioning them in the manual!

Works nicely out the box. Plug it in, couple of settings and the time is auto set. Display is big clear and bright in the Day time and dims enough at night so as to not to disturb. Has all the right date and time info in a nice clear format. Mother in law liked it so much we got another so she can have one upstairs and downstairs.

I'm in my 40's, so I'm not elderly, I don't have dementia. But I love this clock! I have 2 now. I have one in the living room and one in my bedroom. I don't like messing about, or anything that wastes my time, especially in this internet age. I don't like mechanical clocks for this reason! They take a few more seconds to read, can be read wrongly if you're in a rush, and need setting when the clocks change. This clock from Amazon, when you plug it in, it knows the date and time already, you don't need to set it. When the clocks go forward or back, it changes automatically. There are settings you can adjust like, 24 or 12 hour clock, brightness, colour, and the alarms. For the one in my living room, I have it on auto brightness so it adjusts depending on the brightness of the room. The one in my bedroom I have on the lowest brightness so it doesn't disturb me when I need to sleep. Otherwise I like to read a 24 hour time. Now onto the reason why I really like these clocks. There is no messing around with these. I like information, I like lots of it, and I like it clear to me. When you glance at these clocks, you're told the day of the week at the top. Whether it's morning, afternoon, or night. Below, in the bigger font, is the time. Below that is the date. You have the day, the month, in writing, and the year. I need and love all this information at a glance. Especially in the morning when I wake up. I've had the one in my living room for quite a while. It's never gone wrong, and never let me down. I'm absolutely delighted with it, and I can't recommended it enough. I may not be elderly or ill. But that didn't stop me buying them, and I'm glad I did. I think they're great.

It looked nice but just a month and more it is not working. Screen has gone black and return option is no more available.

Great gift for seniors especially those with site (extra large readout!) and/or memory issues. We bought it for mom while in rehab and, because it shows morning, afternoon, and evening as well, it stopped the 2am phone calls we were receiving when she thought it was 2pm. Also helped ground her to day and date. Great value for the money.

Purchased the TROCOTN 10 inch Digital Day Clock as a Mothers Day present which has only just been given so as far as longevity of the product is concerned it is to early to tell but the quality is good and contemporary , the setup very easy to navigate around and the large display is excellent but most important of all is that the recpient loves it.
