18 Medium Gas Fire Ceramic Coals Replacement Suitable for Gas, LPG, Electric and Bio Ethanol fires

I bought theses coals and I find them perfect. They look great. Quantity is a lot. Different sizes in pack and good value.

well, firstly, the 18 medium-sized coals were not excessively packaged, especially with plastic and arrived 1 day earlier than the due date. the coals were for use with a Kohlengaz, open-front, 4Kw gas-fire, the majority of the original ones having become various hues of grey during the 4 yrs. of use. experimenting with the placing is still on-going to get the best natural coal-fire effect but presently the red glow effect is not seen quite as much as i'd have liked. in other words, more black coals on view than glowing red ones - even wth MAX heat setting. more experimenting with the placement i suspect and probably removal of 4/5 coal pieces.

These were ordered as replacements for 14 gas fire 'coals' which were well past their best. The quality of the new 'coals' are fine but they are half the size as they appear in the advertising pictures. I had asked how big they were before ordering and was told they were 45 mm. What I didn't realise was that they were not 45 mm cubes. They are approximately 45 X 45 X 30 mm. It's taken all 18 of the new 'coals' to replace the 14 old ones.

Very good. Perfect replacement for the super old ones we had before. They're approx 4cm x 3cm on average.

Decent amount in box, added to originals to improve look of the fireplace
