Liquid iron for those that get anemic easily, better absorption than from pills
There are exactly two similar liquid iron products (same iron type) for sale on amazon right now. I tried the competition first only because it is a higher dose of iron than this one but with that higher dose comes a higher price. Naturally, given the chance to get twice as much for the same price most folks are going to want to try out the cheaper one in case it can do the job as well. When the bottle arrived the sticky circle that keeps the box closed had dried out and the box was open (but not the bottle, it was still sealed) and the dosage cup was missing from the box no biggie I have a few of those from other products. Iron because it is what it is, can have a metallic taste to liquid forms, this one comes with a "chocolate caramel" sort of flavor which I at least prefer to the grape flavor of the other product. This product comes in a four and eight ounce bottle, I bought the larger one just so I won't have to order as often. The dosage is 555% of the daily recommended value which sounds like a lot but if you're severely iron anemic your health care professional actually might be ordering doses that high or even higher to try to get you back where you need to be. It seems to be recognized that iron absorption from a liquid supplement is VERY superior to that you can get from pills. As a laymen natural healing student, I've always believed that at least some supplements will absorb better when your body doesn't have to work to extract it in the digestive tract. It's supposed to take several months to restore iron stores in the body when they get too low I can tell you from personal experience iron anemia makes you feel like a wet rag that just won't dry out, no energy, no drive, no desire to do much of anything but lay around. After about two months of high levels of supplements I'm feeling a lot butter but I'm determined not to have to deal with that again. There are reviews written by people who take these liquid products all the time, yes it's a little pricey but worth it believe me. Liquid iron products have the unfortunate reputation of staining teeth so when you use a product like this make sure to take a drink of something to swish it out of your mouth so it's not sitting on your teeth. Will post more once I've used this one for a while, I'm comparing it to the competing product to see how I feel. Some folks also report gastric issues with high doses of iron, I haven't noticed that with this particular type of iron but everyone's different. Be careful not to spill this on fabric it will stain from the looks of things. I've nearly gone through a whole bottle of this over the past couple months and it is keeping my iron levels where they belong will definetly buy this again when I run out in the next month or so. Good stuff and it doesn't taste bad at all. Have not noticed any gastric issues and I feel great.

Happy customer
Great question — Amazon’s community guidelines don’t allow you to mention personal medical conditions, diagnoses, or claim that a product treats or cures something. But you can talk about your experience in terms of general well-being, how you felt, taste, ease of use, and results in everyday language. Here’s a safe example of a 5-star review you could post: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I’ve been using this liquid iron for about a month, and I can really feel a difference in my daily energy levels. It’s gentle on my stomach, easy to take, and the taste is much better than I expected for an iron supplement. I also appreciate that it absorbs quickly compared to tablets. I feel more alert and less run down during the day, which has made a big difference in how I go about my routine. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an effective and easy-to-take iron option!”

Flavor is awful
My ferritin is 3.6 and hgb is 9. I really hope this stuff works quickly because it tastes so bad, like fishy pennies and a hint of raspberry. However, it doesn’t hurt my stomach like iron pills do, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Doesn’t hurt your stomach
This liquid iron supplement worked for me to get my iron levels back to normal and it didn’t hurt my stomach at all like other iron supplements. At first it wasn’t working because the vitamin c dosage i was taking was too low. So you do have to pair it with at least 400mg of vitamin c for it to work and take the supplements daily. The taste of the iron wasn’t too bad, it kind of taste like a flavored cough syrup but i drank it with a cup of fruit punch and it was tolerable. I would recommend this product.

Female Middle Age Life is Much Better with Liquid Iron
*THIS* has made my day-to-day life so much better. I struggle with low iron occasionally –– certainly during my 2 pregnancies and now that my perimenopause periods are becoming closer together and heavier it was starting to be a problem again. I just had blood work done to confirm how low my ferritin levels are. But I didn't need the test to confirm –– I knew it because of the way I'd obsessively be crunching on ice all day long, how I'd need to lay down to rest in the mid-afternoon a few days a week and how worthless I felt on days 2-5 of my monthly cycle. That's not to mention the almost daily headaches. I was kinda a wreck for an otherwise very healthy and fit 41 year old. After the blood work I bough iron supplements (pill form) and only managed to take 2 pills before I knew I couldn't do that any longer –– the way it made my stomach hurt was insane and I already dealt with constipation so I didn't want to wait around too long to see how much worse the iron pills made that. I quickly found people on Reddit talking about liquid iron in the anemia thread so I gave this a try and HOME RUN!!! I do not think it taste bad. The first taste is nice, like raspberry, as advertised, but then it does have a little metallic to it but that's not anything a quick chug of water won't fix. Best of all I very quickly stopped having daily headaches, my energy is so much better, my most recent period didn't leave me completely wiped, and I haven't chewed ice in a month. I will never be without this again! Save yourself from the awful side effects of iron pills –– this is the way to go!!!

TASTES SO BAD
Okay I don't care what anyone says this crap tastes HORRIBLE!!! It smells good but the second it touches ur mouth all you taste is blood, quarters, feet, and nasty all mixer together. And it only gets worse unless you chase with something super bitter or tart. Water and tea and simple things like that don't get rid of the taste fast. But I paid for it and can't send it back so might as well try it out. Wish me luck.
