Fits a 2011 MINI R60 Key
You'll need some soldering skills to get this to fit, and getting the key apart was a challenge in itself, but this is identical to the genuine battery and has improved the lifespan of our old runabout MINI key.

Does not fit BMW E93 key
Advertised as a replacement battery for BMW E93. The fitament of the battery is wrong and doesn’t fit the motherboard to the key. I’ll be requesting a refund!

Good back up battery for key fob
Got a car? Got a key fob? Need a spare battery? This is the Vailikey VL2020 Rechargable Battery for Mini Cooper E39, E46, E90-93 And Ford Transit Connect, Fiesta, Mondeo MK7 MK8. If you have a contactless key fob then everyone’s worst nightmare is a flat key fob battery, as your car is useless without it. This is being used in my spare key fob, as the old one was flat. Problem solved by popping fob open and simply slotting the new battery in. Overall I’d recommend this key fob battery, as it will save you that worry of having no back up power.
