A couple days ago I bought a 256GB Kingston flash drive for £20. I wasn't expecting insane speeds, but I tried to transfer 30GB to that drive and got an estimated transfer time of 2 hours. I returned that drive, and spent £10 more to get this one. I have just tried to transfer the same 30GB folder and it all copied across in under 1 minute. Extremely impressed. Well worth spending an extra £10! I saw people mentioning the build quality, but on first impressions seems decent enough to me. The case is a nice quality metal and the caps fit on snugly enough for my liking.

Not sure how many stars to give - handy to have and has worked without error so far. Cons : caps are a bit awkward and have to keep finding them / easy to lose. Biggest issue is that speed drops dramatically within seconds of task starting, presumably due to heat build up. so the quoted speeds do not reflect what is acheved in practice. A similar capacity high speed amazon SD card seems much less affected

I use this to bring Life back into a 2016 MacBook Pro after the internal SSD had given up the ghost. I managed to install macOS onto this external USB SSD and it works flawlessly.. I attempted to do the same thing with a real SSD and SSD to USB connector but any time it moved the machine crashed. This is not the case with this product. I now have a fully working Mac that I can use in my workshop and I’m not bothered about getting it grubby. I ran some tests on the speed of transfer and it is as advertised. You can basically use this to install an entire computer make the drive bootable and carry your computer in your pocket! My only regret is that I should’ve bought a bigger one.

Great little drive. Most of the time fantastic read/write speeds. Literally, I am getting 800MBs read speeds, writes about 5-600MBs. For some reason and i am also getting 70MBs, but i think thats due to my pc not recognising the drive as a Gen 3.2, but am guessing here. Can well recommend.

Advertised as 900mb/s write, but the 128G only reaches up to 700, which is still an amazing speed! Definitely worth every penny, if you transfer big size files. Transferred an iPhone backup with regular USB and this one, using usb 3.0 Regular pen took ~40 minutes. Transcend 128GB ~ 5 minutes. You’ll need USB 3.2 to use full speed.

Super fast usb SSD. These seem to be hard to find on amazzon but this one is great. files transfer instantly and it works on USB-C type phones.

Fast speeds, dual type c & a connector, works with my Pixel 7 ( exFAT ). Gets a little bit warm during long sustained file transfers.

Hp Elitebook 840 G4 i7 7500U işlemcili 16 gb ram bilgisayarımın type c bağlantısından takıp, laptopun 1 tb D diskini (Samsung SSD 450mb/sn) tek seferde kopyala dediğimde 37mb/sn hız ile kopyalamaya başladı. Daha sonra 340 gb bir klasörü Type A (USB 3.1) girişinden kopyalamaya çalıştığımda bu sefer ortalama 150mb/sn hız ile kopyalıyor. Tıpkı benim laptopumda olduğu gibi kullanacağınız bilgisayarın donanım özelliklerine bağlı olarak performansı değişecektir. O nedenle, yok özelliklerinde yazdığı hızı alamadım falan filan tarzı yorum yapmak bence yanlış. Diğer bir konu da ısınma konusu. Arkadaşlar, değerli tüketiciler, bu bir elektronik cihaz. Kopyalama işlemi yapıldığında ısınmasından daha doğal bir şey olabilir mi? Çok korktum, ısınıyor, yangın çıkabilir tarzı yorumları okudukça, ülke insanına olan inancım sarsılıyor.
