I recently purchased this propane blowtorch, and I have to say, I'm impressed with the quality. Right out of the box, you can tell it’s made from high-quality materials. One of the most important aspects for me is safety, and this blowtorch delivers. It doesn’t leak at all, which is a huge relief. Very heavy duty construction and dependable flame ignition and control. BUT, when I first tried the torch it failed to light. I found the problem was with the spark wire was not inside a small spring in the torch head. Maybe during assembly? Once I placed the spring over the wire it worked flawlessly ever since. Probably one of the best purchases I've made in a while. FIVE stars even though I needed to fix the starter wire.

Quit working after 3 uses. Worked great at first. I used it to light a fire 2 times with no issues. The third time it wasn't lighting very well and I assumed the tank was about empty. I lit the torch with a lighter and it had a very loose flame but got the fire lit. Went and bought a new tank and the torch wouldn't. I tried everything. I finally lit it with a lighter and it still has the loose flame. Not sure what's going on but I paid $30 for this one so I could save a bit from the name brand. It's a pretty simple device so I thought "What could go wrong?". Well, it could break after 2 uses and you could waste $30. Just buy the bernzomatic

This is a solid, high-quality torch that I use regularly. It’s perfect for quickly starting BBQ charcoal and also great to bring along for camping. The flame is noticeably larger and more powerful than other torches I’ve used, and it ignites reliably every time. I’ve used it quite a bit and haven’t had a single issue. Definitely happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a dependable torch for home or outdoor use.

Works fine: if you use it with a regular propane tank(5lb etc) then there is some trickery involved. Pressure is too high so igniter won't work. Open the tank valve bare minimum. Open the torch valve also minimal. Then use a cigarette lighter. Very Slowly increase the flow while keeping tank valve minimally open. Alternatively you can use dedicated cans but have to spend extra money.

I honestly don't know what to say. I didn't have much faith in it because of its 4.1-star rating, but it blew me away. It has a good, powerful flame that I couldn't get with some I bought in local stores. It's good; I bought it for a university project, but I won't hesitate to use it for some DIY projects I have going on since I'm a repair enthusiast.

As reviewed by others, this torch is out of this world. It is solidly built and ignites every time. Did some aluminum soldering and the heat this torch gives out is perfect. Took just a while to get the job done. Fit perfectly on my MAPP cylinder with no leakage. Gives you a sense of safety working with it. Easy to use and lights every time. A handy tool to include in your tool list.
