Making my old favorite brand new!
Works perfectly and keeps my Moka pot working at peak performance. I have to replace the band after about 100 uses. Put a trick is to just flip it over and use it for another 100 so I get a good long cycle out of it. I usually go through one of these packs a year, and therefore replace the filter every year. If you find your moka pot is not working as well as it used to - just put a new filter in and use a new seal and you will be so impressed that the quality of your coffee is just like the first day that you bought your pot. One of the best gifts I have ever received and this replacement kit keeps that gift working day after day after day!

Perfect!
If have a Bialetti Moka Express, these are the replacement parts you need! Here's how to tell if your gasket needs replacing. First, you'll notice moisture under pressure seeping out between the top and bottom. But even before that, when the gasket is good, you'll notice that the flats of the pot (top) line up with the water pot (bottom part). If yours don't line up after you screw them together, it's time for a new gasket. These parts are genuine Bialetti, are made in Italy, and will put your Moka Express back into perfect operation condition. Highly recommended over cheap imitations.

More than adequate.
Thus far, fine. The metal replacement filter is of somewhat lesser quality than the original, but I think will work.

A New Bialetta Filter, Or Not?
Unlike the original filter that came with my Bialetti Moka Express, the new one is flat. The lack of ridge marks makes it confusing, as to where the filter's going to sit. First of all I tried having the filter facing out, so that I could naturally put the seal around it. This resulted in their being a slight gap. This meant that when I made a drink, steam and residual coffee would come out the side. I was convinced that the filter was too big, as it could sit on top of the top's rim; quite easily. But this was not the case at all; all I had to do was to have the filter flat facing up, with the 'Made in Britain' sign facing down. Here the seal fits flush with the filter, and the bottom is easier to screw on: as the other way around it was harder. Once correctly in place, this is a great replacement filter.
