I'd not even thought about the shape of these when I ordered them so found myself a bit surprised when these round discs about 5mm deep arrived, however, I'm glad I never for it may have put me off ordering them which would have been a huge mistake. I have a neighbour who likes to sit in his garden at 2/3/4am shouting into his phone which is fine during winter when windows are closed but not so good during the summer months so I found myself looking for something to help deaden his dulcet tones as he yells are whomever he may be speaking to at the time. I've used many earplugs of differing shapes when I worked in a factory once, all of which I found after a few hours got uncomfortable and many of which took several layers of skin off my ears so I wasn't holding out much hope. These beauties though, are AMAZING. Being able to shape them to suit your own ears is the best part. They mould so easily. I tend to make a conical shape to begin with that I position inside my ear; with the remaining bulk I spread it over my inner ear, pressing down firmly to ensure it's not going to pop out. They mould beautifully and create an (almost) soundproof plug. There is no rubbing, chafing or removing of skin layers. I find if you tuck them under your tragus they stay in place all night. They are so comfortable I actually forgot I had them in one morning and couldn't figure out why the only noises I was able to hear was my own breathing. They're not 100% perfect but my neighbour is now a very distant sounding dull drone/hum rather than an ear splitting screech. They have most definitely given me some really peaceful nights sleep.

Nice product that work relatively well and are comfortable. Seem as good a wax earplugs that I had always thought to be the best. Would recommend a trial.

My husband uses these to sleep as he goes to sleep very early evening and they cut the majority of noise out.

Using this product has reduced noise in a busier environment and helped aid me in a deeper sleep. However, after prolonged use (5 nights with same ear plugs in a row) I have noticed the silicone leaving a sticky residue in my ear. Had to stop using to ensure I do not get an ear infection.

UPDATED The seller kindly messaged to offer a refund and a chance to try their ‘new batch’ of earplugs which were apparently better He sent these out immediately which was kind, but unfortunately they were just as useless as the original packet :( They still only stayed in place a matter of seconds and there was absolutely zero noise reduction which is of course the point of them Unfortunately it’s still a one star review and I still advise to stick to foam ones which as someone who sleeps every night wearing them, are comfortable, stay in place until removed and block all noise The worst amazon purchase to date!! I genuinely don’t understand how they have gotten any positive reviews as they’re not fit for purpose at all They ‘can’ be rolled into a ball and squashed flat over your ear but…. They keep out absolutely ZERO sound whatsoever and fall out in seconds Useless and complaining to Amazon also

Best ear plugs ever! They are quite large for my ears so I split one in half which makes them fit each ear perfectly! Definitely recommend if you want to hear nothing when sleeping.

This product is the best in market and does exactly what it says on the tin; (for those who have the patience to use and maintain it) it takes some nights of getting used to then it’s basically the Godsend you and your body have been praying for. I’m a student and around exam season these help me get in the 8 hours I need when I’m expecting noisy room mates coming back to the flat drunk at 3AM. The product does require some getting used to as I suggested; basically you need to each ear plug between your hands until they get warm enough that they’re malleable. After that you basically are supposed to pinch and shape them in a way that moulds into your ear. These are disposable and replaceable, however. (The price point may make you hope for permanent use but the nature of the material says otherwise) I manage to get my pack of three to last for a month; (so roughly 8-10 days for each pair before they start to crumble) and I repurchased so I’m on my second pack currently. If you wanna get the most out of the product make sure to clean them every morning after use, I do so by placing them in a cup or bowl of warm water and mix in some soap (or antibacterial like Dettol if you’re a germaphobe) and wash them about then leave them in for a minute or so before taking them out and leaving them to air dry throughout the day. Cleaning them keeps the ear plugs from crumbling early and makes them more malleable for use that night. Also try using the same plug for each ear every night, (right for right, left for left) you’ll eventually notice that they take the form of your ear and are easier to put in as nights pass along. *HOWEVER AS SOON AS THEY BEGIN TO CRUMBLE AND BREAK SWITCH TO THE NEXT PAIR AS IT COULD GET LODGED IN YOUR EAR CANAL* I love this product and am probably going to keep buying it because I live in a really noisy part of the city and they help me sleep even through industrial construction work and rave music alike. Big thanks to the Deep Sleeps Team for making such a great product - do not hesitate to buy it - any bad review is from consumers who don’t know how to use the plugs properly so take it out on the product.
