It’s ok
The knife came pretty sharp the finish is tip top it is difficult to open the larger blade without first opening the small blade because of the location of the nail groove the small blade blocks access to it all in all I rate the knife as ok

Sturdy EDC
Sturdy knife. Great for everyday cutting tasks. Second pen blade is a plus. Has a good snapping walk and talk. Super sharp out of the box. The nail nick is a little hidden behind the pen blade on the main clip point blade making it a little hard to pull. The springs, bolsters, and scales are tight fitting and smooth. Generally good bang for your buck.

Defective item. 3 of 4 purchased identical issue
Large blade cannot be opened. Nail nick inaccessible. I have purchased 4 and 3 have identical issue. Returning products. I have numerous other RR Barlow style knives all good quality. Just RR Tuff Barlow is faulty. I have 800 + knife collection. Rough Ryder normally good quality for price point. I now have purchased 7 of the Tuff Barlow’s. All have same issue. Cannot open large blade. Vendor continues to sell product. Other Rough Ryder Barlow’s good quality only issue is with Tuff Barlow. Really wanted to like this knife. Beautiful scales. Manufacturing process appears to be at fault .

Excellent quality and great feel
I've be a collector and user of Barlow knives for decades. Rough Ryder's quality proceeds itself. I have never had "a bad knife" from them. The scales are incredible! Blades razor sharp straight from the box. Mirror polish on everything! And priced very competitive. I no longer buy Case knives as their quality has sunk to the floor. But you can bet on Rough Ryder for a first rate knife!
