Great lightweight Milwaukee tool but needs a safety switch
I love this tool and the price is amazing I do not think any other platform offers a better deal The tool is very lightweight which makes it easy to handle and true to Milwaukee quality I am very happy with its performance However the one drawback is the lack of a clear power off or safety switch like those on nail guns which is a safety concern for me Overall great value and reliable build but I wish it had a dedicated power off feature.

Good stapler
Works well, compact size, great if you are already using M12 tools. Has a surface safety, but I would like to see a safety switch too, once a battery is connected, the tool is always active. Fast repeat rate and strong stapling power in both plywood and dimensional lumber.

Beefy, Efficient Unit
Bought this to staple carpet to pressure treated wood runners for a boat trailer - big improvement over doing it by hand. If you have other M12 tools and batteries or if you are short of hand strength for a long stapling session this is a nice addition to the toolbox. It's compact and surprisingly heavy but easy to handle. You can hold the trigger and bump fire it, but the cycle time is nothing like an air tool. Evaluate what you intend to use it for: it uses T50 staples (3/8 wide crown) exclusively. The hand stapler I have accommodates both 3/8 and 1/2" crown staples. I would have preferred that this tool do the same; the wider crown is preferred for the job I'm using it for. I may use a mix of staples in my project and resell this when done but that's not a knock on this solid little tool.

Nice stapler!
Purchased mostly for my wife to staple landscape fabric for the raised bed. I have a pneumatic stapler/nailer but cordless is more convenient in this type of application. Depth adjustment is great but does take a few staples to get the depth needed based on material and not too deep to go through fabric. I also like that this has a bump fire option. Based on my application, doesn’t really need to be all “that” neat as most of them will be covered by dirt. The 12v battery does seat very tight and some people may have difficulty removing as it does take a bit a strength to squeeze to pull out battery. I would never recommend “slamming” the battery home on any tool as it may bend the male pin and then you’ve got something to fix, if it didn’t break. I like the alignment function and it will not fire a staple until depressed. Where you have it aligned is where the staple will go. So, this will make fastening low voltage wiring pretty seamless and easy. Keep in mind that this will only take 3/8” wide crown (t150) staples. You are limited on how long the staples can be as well. I believe the ones I used are 3/8” long as well (not sure though). It did make quick work this my current project, especially with the bump fire option. Even at a bare tool price of over $100, it will last for many years. I used a 1.5AH battery, on a 4’x8’ raised bed and used a 50’ roll of fabric. Likely used little over 75 staples and didn’t lose full state of charge at all. Have to say this would last over 1000 staples before battery change. I would recommend this stapler as part of your cordless tool arsenal based on convenience and performance.

When it fires, it is awesome.
I'm a big fan of this thing. Couple of complaints though after sending maybe 16 strips through it: If it has maybe 9-10 staples left, it won't fire. As I run into a no-fire, I need to dump out and waste those last few staples for a new strip. That kind of sucks. There was ONE instance where I had a no-fire with a full strip. Detach the battery, reseat it, and then it worked again. When it fires, (which is 95% dependable) it is awesome. Adjustable power, feels like a proper piece of hardware. The plastic mold seam acts as an 'aim' or front sight for if you need to get a staple perpendicular to a precise seam. In other words, left/right aim, trust the plastic molded seam, it is dependable. I wish it had a center dot for low-light, but a sharpie dot does the job too. Put a dovetail mount on it for a nice tritium dot. Put an X/Y laser on it, for those doing 'decorative' stapling. Lastly, the safety tooth that sticks out has to be fully pressed in before trigger-pull for it to fire. I was stapling within an indentation once, no fire. It has to be ALL the way in, really flat surface. I'd suspect some of the other reviews of it just dying, they probably had only 9 staples left, a non-perfectly-flat surface, or the battery needed to be removed and reseated. MAYBE should be 3-stars now that I typed all of this and re-read what I just typed. Come on, Milwaukee. Get this one together.

Must-Have for Refurb Work – Reliable as Always
If you do a lot of refurbishing or work with wallpaper, this tool is a must-have. Like the rest of my Milwaukee tools, it just keeps up with the reliability you expect. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and has plenty of power for what it’s designed to do. It drives staples consistently without jamming, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to move fast and stay efficient on a job. Battery life is solid on the M12 platform, and it’s convenient if you’re already running Milwaukee tools. The build quality feels durable, and it holds up well to regular use. Overall, Milwaukee makes tools for a reason, and this one fits right in—reliable, efficient, and worth having in your kit.

Eliminates Sore Hands from Push/Squeeze Staplers
I have 6 double wide firewood racks to store my firewood. 1 cord of wood on each double wide rack. I needed to cover the racks to protect the firewood from heavy rain and snow/ice. Initially tried just tarps but as the wood was used and the top of the pile lowered the tarps would fill with water and sag inbetween the rack vertical supports. This was a pain to clear, and almost impossible to clear when the water froze. After evaluating other solutions, most of which I rejected due to cost (I'm cheap), I settled on covering the tops of each double rack with chicken wire which would prevent the tarps from sagging. Cheap and problem solved, except now I was faced with attaching all that chicken wire to the racks using staples. Having used push/squeeze staple guns in the past I knew that shooting over 500 staples would be VERY painful to my hand. I already had a Milwaukee M12 tool and when I saw this stapler I was excited. The price was right, the reviews excellent so I ordered it. Stapling is not one of my favorite activities, but this tool made so easy. I shot 0.5 inch staples into pressure treated lumber and as long as I held the stapler against the wood the stables sank flush. With the force adjustment set near maximum I could even gather together 2 to 3 layers of chicken wire under the stapler an most of the time the staple sank almost flush. There was not a single misfire. I was thrilled. I even shot more staples than the minimum needed because it was fun! This was one of the best tool investments I have made and I highly recommend this tool, especially if you already have a M12 battery and charger. I have 2 RedLithium M12 batteries but needed only one to complete the project. Still have 3 different push/squeeze staplers (T50 types) that will probably now gather dust.

Works excellent for putting up chicken wire
This stapler is fantastic! I am putting up chicken wire for a chicken pen! This staple is very easy to use. I am 66 years old and one of those old spring loaded hand, staplers wears my hand out quick! This thing is such a blessing! And the battery last quite a while. It does not come with a battery. But I have plenty of them.

Great stapler
A really good sturdy power stapler which is ergonomically well designed and as a result very comfortable, I have only used it this far with 10mm staples on soft wood (CLS) and it copes quite easily. A great addition to the M12 tools within my tool box.
