Review: Exactly as described - A really nice piece of equipment with a powerful magnet and securing features. Good VFM.
Review: Pretty sturdy - There's more good than there is bad about this. At ~£15 it's not bad compared to the premium brands. The only thing that lets it down in my opinion is the strength of the magnet, which is still easily strong enough to hold it firm enough to my table saw and resist the spring pressure of the dial gauge. Another improvement would have been to make the gauge mount parts captive to avoid fiddly setup. Overall, absolutely fit for purpose and decent value.

There's more good than there is bad about this. At ~£15 it's not bad compared to the premium brands. The only thing that lets it down in my opinion is the strength of the magnet, which is still easily strong enough to hold it firm enough to my table saw and resist the spring pressure of the dial gauge.
