Best Keyboard I ever tried.
(Snow Linear, Black) Honestly worth the hesty price. This keyboard is Amazing. First of all, The plastic Keycaps are smooth and doesn't feel cheap, Second the Switches are prob a 10/10, Sounds amazing and Pre-lubed too. Third the Wireless connectivity via the 2.4hz USB works flawlessly and has no noticeable latency in my hour of gaming. The software is good too. Fourth, You can check the battery percentage without needing to plug into a laptop. Which is such an amazing feature. And finally, Fifth, The overall build quality Is amazing. With the top part of the keyboard being metal this feels like it can last a decade. Would Highly recommend to others.

Excellent First Mechanical Keyboard โ Premium Feel and Amazing Battery Life
This is my first time using a mechanical keyboard and honestly, I can confirm this feels incredible right out of the box. ASUS definitely did not disappoint with the quality. The keyboard has a solid weight to it and feels extremely well made and premium. I absolutely love the design and aesthetic, especially the 96% layout. I truly believe 96% is one of the best sizes for both gaming and productivity because you still get almost all the keys from a full-size keyboard while saving plenty of space for your mouse. One thing that really surprised me was the battery life. I played wirelessly for two days, around 3-hour sessions each day, and the battery only dropped by 1%. That honestly impressed me a lot. The RGB lighting is also super bright and vibrant. I really donโt have anything negative to say so far. I got it at a great price, and it honestly feels like one of the best investments Iโve made for my gaming setup. The aluminum plate feels premium, and the sound of the keyboard is amazing. I also ended up really liking the included wrist rest, something I originally thought I wouldnโt need, but it turned out to be very comfortable and useful. Iโve also played around with Armoury Crate a little bit and had no issues with it. It seems functional and easy enough to use.

Very good with minor issues
What do I like about this keyboard? -Tri-mode connection. I typically use the wireless connection with no issues. The wired connection will also charge the keyboard. I haven't tested out the range wirelessly, the farthest I put the keyboard is 10 feet away from the receiver. -Battery life. Excellent. I recharge the keyboard about every 2 weeks or so, with average usage daily. I do leave the RGB on. -Appearance. It's black with RGB controlled through ASUS Armoury Crate. The other option would have been white. At the time I purchased the keyboard, the black one was on sale and the white one wasn't so that made my choice a little easier. The RGB does turn off for power saving when not in use after a certain amount of time. -Weight. 1 kilo. I would have no issues with putting the keyboard on my lap. I use the keyboard on a table. -Durability. This keyboard does not feel flimsy at all. I have pushed a few keys in anger and it seems to do just fine. And if I do overwhelm the switch, the fact that it is hot swappable is a plus. -Material. plastic and metal. I feel it's a good combination at this price point. Plastic on the bottom leading up to metal on top. -Ease of use. 3 position height adjustability along with the wrist rest make this keyboard very easy to use comfortably for extended periods of time. I mainly use the keyboard for gaming, and with those features, I can play at my best for the duration of the session. -sound quality. the keyboard switches along with the damping foam make it sound like a typical keyboard. It's not loud enough to bother me. Changing switches might make a difference in sound quality. I still have to get used to the 96% layout when typing, so that might be something to keep in mind before purchasing a compact layout keyboard. I would like the display for the CAPS/NUM lock to be slightly larger. When all is said and done I would give a 9/10.

Perfect Hardware, Terrible Software
The keyboard itself is amazing. Build quality is excellent, the keys themselves are buttery smooth and have a pleasing sound. Mine is attached via USB-C but having the option of Bluetooth and wireless are nice to have. Coming from a full-sized keyboard I was initially worried about going to a compact "96%" layout, but I completely adapted to the smaller layout in ten minutes. The software, however is a real sticking point. I thought other reviews were exaggerating about the awfulness of the Armoury Crate software, but if anything they undersold it. You have to register to access full functionality and even then, the Aura Sync feature is utterly broken, which means you're limited to basic, one layer RGB effects. After around 4 hours of troubleshooting I gave up and switched to third-party RGB software and it works great. At the sale price, this keyboard is a great buy as long as you understand the software to control its lighting does not work.

Has been amazing to use
As a gamer, but also a casual user, I donโt want a keyboard that has 0.00001ms response time and 0.0001mm of actuation; I want something thatโs useable. I want something that I can play games on, as well as actually use my PC as a computer without having to switch keyboards or make a million typos. This keyboard does all of that. Everything about this keyboard is perfect. There are so many little things that are so well thought out it just amazes me how other brands donโt do this. For $159, this keyboard is on the pricy side, but in my opinion it is well worth it. Iโve had maybe 10 gaming keyboards in the past 2 years, and letโs just say that Iโve done my fair share of returns. But this keyboard Iโve kept. Some things I like about this keyboard are: - it sounds nice and not cheap at all - the keycaps feel nice to type on and they donโt wear out, and the font is very readable and the RGB shines through nicely - how lighting profiles are also ON-BOARD PROFILES (aka, whenever you switch to use the keyboard with another device, itโll save the last used lighting preset. Random tangent but I donโt know why more companies wonโt do this with their keyboards, itโs not that hard, and in my opinion, thatโs how keyboards should be! - the controls are easy to learn - the size is compact (maybe 1/2 an inch wider than a standard TKL keyboard) - the lighting effects are pretty, vibrant, bright, as well as being very customizable - the wireless and battery life both work great (I use my keyboard wired anyways) - easy to type on if youโre used to mechanical keyboards. If youโre used to something else, such as a laptop keyboard, itโll take some getting used to as is with any mechanical keyboard There isnโt anything that I donโt like about this keyboard. Everything is just there, and everything works great!

Great Keyboard with multi connectivity, good keys and backlighting. TERRIBLE SOFTWARE.
This board feels great, sounds great, and works great. I got it to use between two systems and being able to switch between the different modes is easy. It works with both my Mac and PC and has good Bluetooth compatibility as well. Why only 4 stars?! Their software is bloatware. I cannot load per key RGB lighting and save profiles to the board like any modern quality keyboard can in this price class. Asus needs to entirely rethink their software suite and consider how customers use their products and want to use their products. They are big enough to solve this problem. If you don't really care about doing anything with this keyboard's lighting then you'll enjoy the use of it.

Best Features, Functionality, Size, and Look.
Tried it out and got stuck playing for 4 hours. The keys are lit up, easy to see, spread out just right, they have a really solid press to them. The size is perfect being 80% size with 100% Functionality. The legs are 2 sizes and the wrist wrest will hook You right away. It has a ton of extra Macros built in. It can control multiple screens at once. I was running Steam, Browsing, and YT Music. The Big Eye button on the corner lets u swap the roller to music, volume, or screen scroll. I used the USB plug in and it synced up right away with no Drivers needed. I would highly recommend and purchase again. It came in a sealed clean and safe box. It comes with a key puller, USB to Type-C cord, 2 extra key bottoms. Give yourself some time with it amd you will start noticing all the unique features that make it so awesome. If you choose to swap the space bar you have to be careful with the risers on the sides of the bottom of the space bar. They will come out with the bar if you donโt pull it off right. Of they do pop off, you can put them back inside the bar and push it down. They will click back in. I started with a 30$ MageGee 100% keypad, Then I UGd to a 60$ MSI keyboard. I had a hard time typing with the letters so close. They were both wired and the keys werenโt back lit. They were also 100% size with the number pads. I really liked having the keypads but wanted something shorter for more mouse room.

Excellent Keyboard! Very high quality and attention to detail!
I wanted a keyboard that had BT, RF and wired connectivity, and backlight with long battery life. on paper this keyboard met that criteria. I had a Logitech G515 and was not impressed on first opening. it had a laughable battery life, and you cannot change anything (lights, etc) without logitechs software, and you can't read the keys without the light on! Coming from the logitech, when i opened the package of the Asus ROG Strix Scope II keyboard, my only words were WOW! Packaging was excellent and top notch, the keyboard was firm, keys sounded great and the lighting is amazing! It is also a fully size keyboard (keys) in a 96% footprint! The sound of the keys are muffled but very pleasant and great feel. the function combination of the keys is very easy and the keys are very easy to read. (Even with the LEDs off! lol) You can easily change the colors and functions on this keyboard without the software which is exactly what i was looking for. if you use the software you can do even more! All around this keyboard is fantastic, and it puts the logitech keyboard to shame at about the same price. Too soon to tell on the battery life but on paper it is 1500 hours. (the logitech is 36! lmao) I am very happy I got this keyboard and highly recommend this keyboard if you are considering a wireless option for games or office!

Saludos.

Awesome keyboard, only one personal downside
Well built, compact, individual RGB per key, really handy scroll for volume and other shortcuts. Can change all config (device, RGB and shortcut options) without the app. Can even check battery status! Typing is fluid and soft, no click sound, fast actuation. Finally it's nice to have mouse + keyboard wireless with a single USB dongle (requires app for sync). The only downside is that it is difficult for me to get used to this layout since I'm used to full size keyboards, always using that middle cluster with HOME, END, PG DOWN, PG UP.

Stunning Premium All-Rounder
The ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless is a gorgeous keyboard with a robust, premium texture. Its 96% layout and smooth NX switches make it absolutely perfect for office work, coding, and fast-paced gaming. The only downside is that it lacks support for the Armoury Crate Web version (Gear Link). Fortunately, it redeems itself with the ROG Omni Receiver, allowing you to pair both this keyboard and a compatible ROG mouse to a single dongle.
