This can definitely not be used as a walking cane, it is unstable with only one of the tripod like legs touching the ground, so just a folding seat and a very uncomfortable one to boot. I instantly returned and requested a refund and no news after 2 weeks.

March 2023: I ordered this adjustable cane chair in blue for my aging parent, specifically for a trip we were taking. The item was exactly as expected from the product photos and description. Arrived flat and the adjustable height feet were easy to slide on. Folding and unfolding movements were quite simple and easy to figure out how to secure the chair closed. I ran into an issue with carrying the cane chair. Since it is rather wide and the main use was to have a chair for my parent when a seat was needed, it wasn't really being used as a full time cane. Instead, the usual cane was also in use and this cane was sometimes used in both hands like a hiking stick on slopes. Eventually, I cut some Velcro (I have a large rolls for the household) and secured a duffle bag strap below the handle and under the seat. This is allowed me to swing the cane chair on my back (with the strap across my chest), leaving my hands free for anything and everything else. Sometimes, I would just swing it over one shoulder if I was in a hurry. The Velcro was adjustable to any kind of strap, I just happen to have a duffle bag available. The cane chair has worked out exactly as I hoped. Just remember to sit with the handle between the legs for stability. I will need to add photos at a later time.
