I really like these silicone mats! I ordered them to place under my air fryer and coffee maker to protect the counter from heat, stains, and spills, and they’ve worked perfectly. The clear, non-slip design keeps them in place, they’re easy to wipe clean, and the size is just right. Good value.

The clear Silicone Baking Mat were purchased to replace a rubber kitchen sink divider protector, and to serve as surface protector to guard against pot marks on a cast iron white enameled sink. They work great! With two mats, we were able to use one to cover the dual sink divider and the other to line the sink most used.The mats are NOT CUTTING BOARDS. The silicone material is very soft, and using a razor blade, it was easy to cut-out a circle to lay the mat on the bottom of the sink and over the sink drain. The mat covering the divider clings to the cleaned surface and does not move-ever. The sink was scrubbed clean and polished before putting the mats into place.The mats are easy to clean, too. When peeling carrots, the mats take on an orange hue. We scrub them with Soft Scrub with bleach, let it sit for about 10-minutes, and rinse-the mat is clear again.We know our application is not what the mats were intended for, but they work great. Putting dishes in the sink is quiet, too.

I do like them as placemats… want them bigger

I was already using these mats for heat-resistant protection of our quartzite countertops from hot pans, dishes and such. Then we bought new dining room furniture and, among some other mat sets, we bought a couple of sets of woven mats. Of course, the woven mats became our favorites; however, the mats allowed tiny crumbs and wet sauce spills to pass though to the table top which - though sealed - has a slight "woodgrain" finish that makes ir a little harder to wipe clean with a cloth or sponge.Eureka! These mats are exactly the same width (front to back) and only an inch wider (very easily trimmed down to fit). Now we have an easily cleanable, easily removable surface protector "invisibly" hiding beneath our woven place mats. Oh: They also do a great job for heat protection.

I wanted this clear silicone mat to put down on my nightstand top to keep water damage off. I put a glass of ice water beside my bed at night and sometimes it sweats. The mat works well for protecting my wooden nightstand from water stains and scuff marks. I wanted this size (9"X12") specifically, and was glad to find a mat so small for this purpose.They come in a set of two, though I am using only one at this time. They are translucent, and not too thick. There would be many uses for mats like this. I might use the other one in my kitchen. The description says they are heat resistant and food grade (and they would be since they are silicone).
