Great mini projector for the price, buy one!
This mini projector is so easy to set up it seems daft not to get one for the price. It is compact and lightweight and came neatly packaged in a box small enough to pop on your bookshelf. We connect a mini dvd player via hdmi lead to the projector and watch older dvds. The picture quality is great. The sound is not bad tbh and there is the capability to connect it by bluetooth to an external speaker to enhance this. The fan noise is not quiet, as expected really, but isn't noticeable when you have a movie showing, especially when the projector is connected to an external speaker. This kit also comes with a soft, foldable screen (like a big sheet) that you attach, well anywhere really! We have a tripod projector screen so haven't tried the included one yet. You can always use a plain wall instead of a screen too. This piece of kit can be used in many different ways, in the garden, at a friend's, it's great! Quick and easy to set up, great price, good quality picture and not bad sound. I highly recommend it.

Great Projector - Low cost and, great visuals, very versitile
This is a fab little unit, low cost, great value, an a brilliant solution for the children's games room. The overall projector set up is very simple. With great connectivity, so far, I have connected a Switch (HDMI), XBOX (HDMI), a WII (AV), Firestick (HDMI), USB stick (with mepg4 and mp3 files), a portable speaker (AUX) and I have also cast Netflix and YouTube from my mobile phone using the Miracast App and the integrated projector Wi-Fi function. All options have worked superbly. It came with a simple screen, which is more than adequate, however I bought a portable screen solution for the garden, as I wanted something portable and retractable for outdoor use, using the smaller screen to hang up when using indoors. We have already had some great gaming sessions on the Xbox/Switch in the house, and a few movie nights, both indoors and outdoors. This projector will give us many more outdoor film nights in the garden, as the summer approaches. I would highly recommend this product. For the price, and for the fun it will deliver, it is an absolute bargain. It is a must purchase, and its versatility means it is ideal for for spring, summer. autumn and winter! 5 stars.

Good value
Very good value for money with a nice clear projection image - came with the cloth screen. Would be good if it had Bluetooth inbuilt otherwise you have to have a laptop/TV and HDMI cable

Great little projector - good colours and crisp image
I have this projector connected to my laptop and am playing YouTube video of some movie trailers. In the video the projector is probably around 3m from the gloss white wardrobe doors that it is projecting on to. It creates a very big image as you will see. The picture quality is good even at this distance and is crisp with good colours. I will be using this for movies mainly but it could be used for many different things. I have not used the included screen yet but that looks to be good quality. Sound is pretty good from the projector but to get the full effect then connect a Bluetooth speaker up to it with a heavy bass! Easy to set up and simple to use, just connect the leads, point it where you want the image projected and then fine tune by turning the lens. Projector is not too noisy either (fan). Overall really pleased for a good budget projector. Does the job well.

Compact Projector, easy to set up and use, vivid image , so good it has replaced my TV.
This is a compact projector that it very easy to set up. The remote control is simple to use. The image is vivid and the depth of colour is good meaning that you can watch it successfully in a shaded room during thje day, and a complete blackout isn't necessary. I project directly onto a light painted wall at a distance of 3 metres, so I have a large screen area, the included white screen, that I don't need to use, is large enough for the screen size. I use the projector as my tv, and it is very good for watching all entertainments, especially sport, travel and art documentaries, films and drama. It is easy to connect to pc with hdmi, and mobile with miracast via wifi and bluetooth and other speakers. Easy connection to dvd player enhances the choice of entertainment and playing music!

You Get What You Pay For - but it might be right for you
N.B. Three stars as is not the best projector in the world but it is cheap We were so amazed to find a (not quite) pico size projector for under ยฃ100 we thought it was worth a go - it is worth noting we ar comparing with our eventual purchase of an Aaxa P7 which was about four times the cost. For the price the picture quality is suprisingly good - though as other reviews here state it would seem worth fiddling round for some time to get a setting that works for you - it is quite bright though and the picture is viewable without the curtains being drawn. However, we decided we wanted to prioritise better resolution over brightness and picture size as we use it in a small darkened room. The main problem for us was the fan noise - with an avrage noise of 37db this was just a bit louder than a full professional Epson EB-X10 XGA projector running at 2,600 lumens (we had read in som blurb that this version had reduced the fan noise which is why we gave it a go) As we wanted the projector for watching films with lots of atmosphere and silence in them in a fairly small room - and as we are lucky enough to be able to afford a more expensive projector - we decided this wasn't the projector for us. However, if you can tolerate lower picture quality and louder fan noise in return for bigger brighter picture at a quite astonishingly cheap price then this might be what you want.

Excellent, well thought out projector. Includes a digital zoom. Sharp, colourful, bright image. Brilliant remote control.
First things first - this isn't a full HD projector. If you care deeply about not seeing the pixel grid when you stand close to the screen, this isn't for you. I work as an animator and filmmaker, so spend my working life tweaking and colour correcting video. My previous projector was a 10 year old pico projector with 30 lumens of brightness. The only reason I upgraded it, was because it was difficult to see dark scenes, even witht the curtains drawn, on sunny days. And that it sometimes didn't work when running it off my iPad. You might think why would some one who cares about image put up with such a poor spec machine. The truth is that I found that for movie nights having a big, colourful image and great sound was far more important than a true HD image. Friends and family tended to praise the image of the little pico projector, so with the higher specs of DR.Q I didn't see any need to spend more. Initial thoughts - when plugging this projector in, via HDMI, for the first time I was really disappointed. So disappointed that I was carefully collecting up all the bits and putting them back in the box to return it. My main problem was that the picture although sharp and very bright, was charmless - washed out and over sharpened to the point of ugliness. So why 5 stars? Well the next day I set it up again and spent the afternoon going through the settings. The more I worked with this machine the more liked it. There has been a huge amount of thought and care that has gone into this projector. Firstly the remote is excellent. What isn't advertised so that on the remote is a button for digital zoom, very useful if (like me) you have a limited space to use this projector in. Secondly you can tweak virtually everything about the image to suit your taste. This transforms the projector into a totally different machine. Settings - here are the settings I found gave the most filmic image: Picture style - Personal setting Contrast 46 Brightness 40 - 46 (change this depending on the film, if its a dark film you might want to make the image brighter) Colour. 80 Sharpness 20 - most important to change Tint 58 Colour Temp settings Red 51 Green 78 Blue 40 Fan noise - projectors and fan noise go hand in hand, as bright bulbs generate heat so you are always going to have a fan whirring. This fan noise isn't a problem, I din't notice it when the film was playing. Sound - run the sound directly from your computer/ iPad. With HDMI - put the HDMI cable in first, then plug in the lead to your speaker directly from your computer. If you plug in your sound first then plug in the HDMI, it will play the sound out of the projector. Playing sound from the projector headphone socket lowers the quality, so make sure to plug in your audio directly from the computer/iPad. Conclusion - An excellent machine. My reason for choosing this over similar rival projectors was that it offered twice the contrast, I wasn't expecting it to be so well thought out. Image is extremely sharp, colourful and bright. The remote is a huge plus and works great. You have digital zoom, that I've only seen previously on more expensive projectors. Focusing is easy and the leads fit very securely into the unit. Everything that needs to work well, does so. Lastly the tripod screw on the base is perfectly positioned for balance. All in all 5 stars.

Like the cinema, but without the expense! Go Buy some Pop Corn!
This is a great projector! I was fortunate enough to get it on a Lightning Deal for ยฃ50.99 instead of the usual ยฃ59.99 so I was well pleased. It came using Royal Mail 48H Tracked and was well packaged. Upon opening the box I was pleasantly surprised to find everything you'd need to get started EXCEPT batteries for the remote. For me it's not a biggy, as I tend to use my own rechargeable batteries for everything anyway. Just to make you aware if you're considering purchasing. If you've used an Android type Kodi box then you'll be familiar with the remote. It's exactly the same. From my initial set up and testing, it seems you need the remote to control the volume. I may be wrong, but I couldn't see anything on the projector to act as a volume control. Again, for me, not a problem. I connected my new projector to a Blackberry Playbook with a load of movies I've watched over the years and selected HDMI. There's other settings for PC, VGA, TF card, that sort of stuff but this worked fine for me. Sound was pretty good from the inbuilt speakers, although when I set it up fully I will probably plug is my old USB speakers and trail them down the back of the sofa. The power lead was a decent length, which proves a bit of thought goes into what's going in the box. It looks as if there's an incentive to leave good 5* reviews if you're happy. I won't say much more. You'll have to buy the projector to see what that incentive is! Correcting the angle on the wall (keystone) works well, as does the overall viewing experience. I was initially concerned about what I thought would be a noisy fan but DON'T BE. Literally when I put my movie on I couldn't hear the fan over the inbuilt speakers. I was immersed in the beginning of Beverly Hills Cop 2 as you can see from my initial screenshot! I will upload pictures of unboxing and so on, but I wanted to demonstrate that this was opened and up and running with no faffing about in literally 2 minutes! If you want to treat yourself to a cinema like experience for very little money then I recommend the DR.Q HI-04 mini projector. Great for the up and coming long Winter Nights! 5* Product. 5* Seller!
