Hi i bought one of these many years ago and it has worked great on xp and a vista machine. anyone tried it on windows 10?

I bought one in 2006 and it worked fine on XP. Now I have changed to a new computer with windows 10 and I cannot get the disc accepted to register ??

will it work on my windows 8 laptop?

Sorry Alan, I can't help. I haven't tried it on Windows 8. Prepare yourself for long sessions. The real time of the films is only part of the copy time!

I have a load of old family 8mm video tapes which I took using my (2003) Samsung VP-W80U camcorder. The A/V output is from a 3.5mm jack via cable with R/W/Y socketed ends. I want to digitise the tapes on to my laptop (Toshiba with Windows 7 O.S.). I have already bought a cheapish R/W/Y to USB converter system, however…

Hi, I wasn't able to get the device to work at all, had all the cables connected up correctly and the software installed correctly but when I played the tape it never recorded it on to the computer and thus disc. I tried many attempts and then gave up with the device. I was using a computer with Windows XP- not sure if it would work better with a newer computer?

will the software work with a Mac?

Hi, as far as I am aware the DVD Maker will work with MAC. I have not done so personally, but as long as you have a USB port there should be no problem. Dennis Ward
