Good product

We have previously bought Maca tablets from a well known high street purveyor of supplements and vitamins, so when these became available for review, we decided get them as a comparison. The tablets come in a glass bottle and the label gives plenty of information, including the ingredients, benefit claims and dosage suggestions. We take Maca for sexual health reasons - we also both go to the gym and have high-workload jobs, so Maca's claims to assist with energy levels and sports performance are appealing. The tablet size is quite large, so a drink of water is absolutely needed. However the tablets are easily swallowed and have no taste, or aftertaste. As for their effects - without any scientific way of testing their benefits, it comes down to how we feel after taking them, which of course can be impacted by a lot of other factors too. What we can say, is that there have been no negative effects, or side effects. Any changes in energy levels, sexual performance or sports performance could be attributed to a placebo effect, however I have noticed a small increase in all of the above. As I have had only positive outcomes from taking this supplement, then I am happy to recommend them. At £15.95 for 120 capsules (60 servings), I think they are good value for money and competitively priced in comparison to alternative brands.

These arrived in a screw cap bottle sealed with plastic, and a removable internal seal. The label is branded, with the reverse giving a good breakdown of the nutritional information, and quantities if ingredients relating to the suggested daily dose. After opening these I emptied out all the capsules to check the consistency of size, and to see if there was any residue in the bottom, a good indication of capsule leakage. The quality of the capsules seems very good with consistent size, shape, and fill, with no excess residue in the container. I have recently started taking Maca root and Ginseng to try and reduce tiredness and fatigue, so was pleased to try these out. I have been taking two daily since they arrived as the recommended dose. The capsules are quite large but only slightly larger than the turmeric and black pepper ones I take, and personally I didn’t have any problems swallowing them. I have found Maca root and Ginseng do give me a slight boost to my energy levels, along with helping fight the mid day tiredness I often suffer from. Overall these seem quality capsules, they are quite large so would not be suitable for someone who had issues swallowing larger capsules. I replaced my normal capsules with these, and they seem to be doing their job well. I can’t really fault these so have given top marks.

I've used Maca, Ginseng etc in the past with no noticeable difference. I've just started using these, so it's too soon to say if these will be the same or have any effect. I'll update if there's any news! Typical size tablets with an odd smell/taste...I just pop them on the tongue and swallow straight away with water. I've left a 3 star, neutral rating for now...

The Maca root has quite the reputation for giving a natural energy boost. That's exactly why I was eager to give it a shot. Since taking them I feel that the usual mid-afternoon slump where I feel like I could nod off at my desk is happening a lot less often now. The tablets are in a glass bottle which is very well labelled with lots of information. They are rather a large size, but it is a large dosage. Easiest when taken with a glass of water. There is hardly any smell, taste or aftertaste when taking them which is a good thing. I think they are quite good value for money and would recommend them to anyone looking to improve their fatigue levels.

As with most supplements expectation vs fact and the fact is most aren't tested for the amazing health claims they use to sell product also quality of the ingredients is a big thing so tou have to spend a fortune . My advice save the cash have a holiday effect is the same

Acquistata la prima confezione qualche mese fa, ho constatato una minore percezione della stanchezza, l'impressione era di essere più energico. Ho comunque atteso prima di fare una recensione, volevo essere certo non si trattasse di facile entusiasmo. Dopo un mese che assumevo le capsule ho ricominciato a praticare ciclismo a ritmo adeguato, dopo che avevo abbandonato da circa un paio d'anni; l'impatto fisico è stato meno traumatico di quanto avessi già sperimentato in passato ed a posteriori devo dire che probabilmente la Maca ha avuto il suo merito. Terminata la prima confezione, ho atteso prima di fare questo nuovo ordine e devo dire che la motivazione dei giorni precedenti, cedeva il passo a stanchezza e fatica della giornata lavorativa e delle prestazioni sportive. Dopo l'inizio del nuovo ciclo ho ritrovato vigore e reattività. Credo proprio che l'apporto di energia sia da riconoscere a questo prodotto.
