Needed a couple of inline couplers for extending Ethernet runs, and these did exactly what they’re supposed to do. The connections are snug, the latch holds tight, and I’m getting full speed through them with zero drop in performance. No wiggle, no random disconnects, no cheap-feeling internals. They’re rated for everything from Cat5e through Cat8, and so far they’ve handled high-speed traffic without any issues at all. Simple, reliable, and way better than some of the flimsy couplers I’ve used in the past. If you need a clean, low-profile way to join two cables without sacrificing performance, these are a solid buy. Would get them again without hesitation.

These are well constructed with very good materials. I use them for residential applications for security camera runs that are extended. Even though they are not rated for POE applications, they still work fine and I get full through put.

Decent build quality. Only complaint is they are kind of difficult to disconnect the cables from.

My 2300SF house had 4 Cat5e runs from various rooms terminating in my basement bathroom's dropped ceiling. I originally had my modem, router, and switch up there but they were a pain to access and were undoubtedly baking in the confined space. These adapters connected without issue and allowed me to extend these runs into the adjacent storage room where my server lives. Now all of my networking equipment lives next to my server, is connected to a UPS, and is easy to access. The best part is that I still get full 10bge speeds on my local network, despite these connectors and the added distance to my Cat5e runs. I'd highly recommend these couplers. They are reasonably high quality and do not create bottlenecks at 10gbe. They are also small enough to fit in some pretty tight spaces without adding much bulk to the cables.
