useful
I am an amateur artist and do reframe some of my pictures. This is a useful way for an amateur to fix the back board on to the back of the frame. Better than staples - I tried one staple and broke the glass but have not done so using this tool and the little metal fixers. I think you have to be a bit handy to use it as it is fiddly but also you have to push quite hard to get them into a wooden frame. I have not tried but I think they would be no good for a plastic frame.

Perfect And Easy To Use.
I had received a large family history glass framed picture from my grand daughter for Christmas but unfortunately there were no clips attaching the hardboard backing and glass to the frame.. Looked on the internet for how to resolve the problem and came across this device along with the pointed star point/clips so thought it looked the solution I needed and purchased it. It is so easy to use and is absolutely perfect for securing the backs to picture frames, very very pleased and not too expensive either.. Just make sure you apply sideways pressure when pushing the pointed clips into the frame and do not apply downward pressure as you could potentially crack the glass but I had no issues at all....

Better if it was magnetic, but a nice tool
This is a nice tool but quite fiddly, all good if the picture frame is lying flat on a table. I am using it in a vertical position so it is a bit more difficult to control the position and that is why l say if it was magnetic it would be perfect.

Ok but could it be better?
Needed some 'points' in order to fit a magazine within an off the shelf frame where the existing pre-fitted points were not long enough and decided to go for the appropriate tool & points kit. Tool feels good in the hand with a nice plastic coating. Looks like it may be designed to work with points other than those in the kit as the fit between them was a bit loose. Not sure if this was the reason but I did manage to bend the tabs on one point which then made it difficult to push it fully home. Also wasn't that easy to insert the points into MDF which was quite dense and they don't seem to grip very well which meant I was able to easily remove one I fitted in the wrong place but once in place they haven't {yet} fallen out. Will be interesting to try with a real wood frame and may yet decide to hammer-home the points in my MDF frame for a firmer fit; the tool would not survive that so a good sized screwdriver may be the answer...

Perfect
Great for what I needed. Easy to use. Came with the clips which I didn’t realise. Easy to put in and take out.

Useful and practical tool.
Does the job but does need a bit of oomph to get the points into the wood (or were my frames just tough?).
