The item looked used when it arrived and was not attached to my case when I arrived in Amsterdam. I bought a traditional leather bag tag and it survived the return journey.

Security luggege tag is not useful at all. If bag lost, Travel bag owner cannot trace the bag with above tag. It's only useful if someone found bag and scan the bar code to reach you which is rare. So don't buy it, I lost money in it as it's non refundable product.
