SO HELPFUL
I got this to paint my Flames of War Miniatures. Before I had to hold it close and lean into my light to see what I am painting. With this headset, the light alone is super helpful, and the magnification helps SO much. I can ACTUALLY see what I am doing now. I dont know why some people are saying this fits poor, as I was able to adjust its size/tightness and fit very easily. Overall, 11/10

Useful headband style illuminated magnifier, decent quality, poor instructions
I bought this magnifier out of a desire to have a better way to see splinters that I often get when working on wood and metals in my shop. My illuminated jewelers loupe has more magnifying power, but the splinter-less hand needs to hold it, leaving no available hand to operate the tweezers. So, a head-worn device was required, and LED illumination and adequate magnification was also a MUST. This product also seems ideal for inspecting printed circuit boards and doing soldering of tiny SMD components, and similar tasks. The Stereoscopic view gives the user much better depth perception than a single-lens magnifier. The build quality on this product seems quite good, and I can imagine a professional using it, although hardcore head-worn magnifiers probably incorporate more advanced optics than this device. The headband adjusts over a wide range, using a locking knob on the rear, so it should fit almost any head size. The LED illumination module, which includes three LEDs arranged side by side, swivels sideways and tilts up/down to get the light where it is needed. A button turns the light on/off, and also toggles between two brightness settings. The module can be removed from the headband assembly, and used as a hand-held illuminator. It has an integral rechargeable battery, and it comes with a very short USB-A to micro-USB cable, perhaps 4.5 inches long; the mini-USB end plugs into the module, and you are expected to provide a USB power source such as a computer, power bank, etc; in order to charge the battery. An LED next to the module's on/off/brightness button indicates red for charging and green for charged. Due to the short length of the charging cable, it is best to remove the module from the headband when charging is required, but of course the user can substitute a longer cable. I took a generic USB power supply/charger (wall wart) and assigned it to remain with this device for the purpose of battery charging (one of my photos shows the USB power supply that I use.....THIS IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS PRODUCT!) Underneath the illumination module, and in front of the wearer's forehead, are two snap mounts, one in front of the other, and both can be ratcheted forwards and rearwards somewhat. The user selects one or two of the five provided stereo lenses, and their top-center tabs are what plug into the two snap mounts. So, the user can attach one or two lenses, adjust their front-to-rear position, and tilt them somewhat for best effect and optical clarity/focus. If two lenses are attached, the front one can be partially tilted to be out of the line of sight. The selected/installed lenses multiply, so a hypothetical 2x lens and a 1.5x lens would add up to a x3 magnification. The box states that the user can arrange to have magnifications between 1x and 14x, although I have not verified this. There is also a third possible lens, looking like a small magnifying glass, and it can be swung down from its "out of the way" position to be in front of the user's right eye, either by itself or in conjunction with one or two 'normal lenses'; in this instance, the left eye (if open) will see a different magnification than the right eye. Since the five main lenses are 'stereo', they actually each incorporate a left lens and a right lens, and stereoscopic views are obtained, unless the user engages that third small lens. A two-piece plastic box & lid is included for storing the protecting the five stereo lenses, and a small swatch of microfiber cloth is also included to wipe the lenses. The included printed manual is pretty poor, using rough "Chinglish", so the user will have to figure out almost everything through intuition and experimentation. The box that this product comes in is sturdy enough, and the form-fit clear plastic molded support seems reasonably durable, to allow storing the product along with its lens box and the charger & cable all in one place until needed.

Great product.
Bought this for my wife and her craft projects. She loves it so much I don't think I'd recognize her anymore if she wasn't wearing it.

It is what it is, and it's mostly sufficient.
Headset is great for the price tag but you get what you pay for. No option to mount monocle on left side for left eye dominant folks such as myself. Not super comfy but it doesn't hurt just kinda feel like it needs to be really tight to stay in place. Could have a better shape to support itself. Also, battery on light dies too fast for long painting sessions and coverage/angle is strange given the super close focal point on the lenses. All in all I'm mostly happy with the product and can understand why it is the way it is given the price. Would purchase again if I really needed a quick set of lenses but may upgrade in the future.

Perfect for up-close work
Up-close work was getting increasingly difficult for my old eyes. This product is comfortable to wear and flexible in how much magnification is available. A great choice for up-close, detail work.

Breaks easily
Very disappointing and unreliable quality. I bought at least three of these and twice now the bracket between the headband and the wing nut has broken away and rendered the unit unusable and unfixable.

Fits all head shapes and sizes
Bought as a replacement for a broken set and an alternative cheaper set that was so bad. Multiple adjustable parts should fit any head size. Bright lights, rechargeable. Multitude of lenses with excellent magnification. As presbyopia takes hold these are invaluable for all intricate work I used to take totally for granted.
