Telescopic wand is great for reaching into a firepit to light the log lighter, or lighting a disagreeable BBQ. It's a miniature hot spark on the end. Can light a candle or propane. To use: charge with a USB cable. There's a little switch on the business end. It works in both directions. Throw the switch, which will activate the lighter for a minute or so. A small blue light will illuminate indicating it's ready to strike. Then extend the wand to the desired length and press the button on the handle part to light the spark. You don't have to return the slide switch on the head; it turns off automatically. Nice unit. Works in windy conditions, too. Don't touch the end. It's hot.

It work extremely for lighting fire pits and grills/smokers so you don't burn your eye brows off. Plus you can use it as a cattle prod on would be thief's incase of a break it 😂

I purchased this lighter to ignite my 36" fire pit. The potential for a flash on ignition and resulting hair loss is something I want to avoid. This lighter gives me an additional 18" of protection. So far so good!

It works perfect for lighting our fireplace.

The product is as advertised and was delivered when promised and in good condition.

I bought this for my family to use on the 4th of July. It lit 2-3 times and then smelled burnt, was way too hot and would not turn back on again. It also didn't telescope at all - incorrect description. It ended up in the trash.

I wouldn’t recommend this lighter. Often times when trying to light a candle I would sometimes hit the candle wick on accident and it would make the entire lighter flame go out. Also the battery of this dies very quickly and constantly needs recharging. Matches or regular lighters are much easier and less of a hassle in my opinion.

I got tired of buying, and rebuying, lighters with lighter fluid. These hold a charge well and I don’t have to keep filling landfills with used up lighters.
