I've never tried a beauty blender, but I've tried other sponges people rave about (like the real techniques) and never liked them. The Beakey sponges are amazing. They don't absorb makeup products so the coverage is not lost. The makeup is truly pressed into the skin with a beautiful finish and my makeup lasts longer than other application methods. It does very well with applying powders and blending out cream products too. These are extremely affordable. I've bought several packs of different colors over the last few years and the quality is always consistent.

Great trio. All 3 sponges are so soft and wonderful. The smallest sponge might be my favorite of the bunch.

I’ve tried lots of different brands of makeup sponges expensive and inexpensive brands these are some of the best ones. They don’t have the smell that some of the cheaper brands have had. The texture is really nice, not too stiff or extra soft. I have used them both dry and wet. Makeup applied smooth, and the sponge didn’t suck up all my makeup . Clean up was easy just bar soap and water, dried in a sponge holder. I would definitely buy this brand again.

Only purchased because my young dog has already destroyed my expensive Morphie and Origin Beauty Blenders ( they rolled off my makeup table and i didn't notice before she made them history! The small and medium blenders are the right sizes, but the large one is really a waste unless your using it on larger body parts, such as legs, arms, back, or chest for tanning products, covering tattoos and,scars! These are from China and has a very funky odor to them, reason for only 3 stars. I washed in lemon scented antibacterial soft soap and soaked in white vinegar for 60 minutes and they still have a faint odor. Will probably need a couple more washings and vinegar soaks! The blenders are soft and dense, i ordered the tan/beige color which the foundation probably won't stain the sponges like it does the other colors. Not sure how long they will hold up with frequent washing and use. They do double in size when using them damp. And most likely will absorb a lot of product too. But pretty decent blenders for the price.
