This Magnesium Threonate uses the same basic Magtein formula, but has fewer additives and is much more absorbable. If you open the capsule into a glass of water, it dissolves, unlike other brands which clump and float on the surface. The taste of the Sports Research product is neutral and there is just a faint odor of rice powder. The Sports Research product is superior to the other brands I have used.
