I bought these for my fire tv so i could use the USB port on the tv to power it. It came with 2, but I could only use one only because you have to have enough watt output from the USB on the TV in order to be able to use it, and one of my TV's isn't enough. This is a fantastic idea, since the Fire Stick comes on when the TV is turned on automatically. Definitely recommend

I wish I had known these were available sooner because they are so much more convenient to use than the included power adapter and USB cord that comes with the Fire Stick. I know everyone may not have an appropriate USB port on their TV, but I would venture to guess that it is a small minority at this point. The cable is about 9" long and connects directly to an available USB port on the TV, eliminating the need for the power adapter and long cord from a wall socket. In my system that eliminated one peace of clutter in the nest of cables behind my entertainment center that I hate. There are two cables included in the package, one with a 90 degree connector and the other with a straight connector to make the connections as clean as possible depending on the location of the TV's USB port. In my case the straight end worked best on my primary TV but the 90 worked great on the TV in the bedroom. The cord is a braided type that is just stiff enough to make a nice gentle bend in the cable so not to much pressure is applied to the plug ends. I chose the orange and black braid which gives it a nice high quality look. Not really necessary but a nice look none the less. In general I am very happy with it and highly recommend it to anyone that would like to reduce the cable clutter behind the TV a bit.
