Solides Gerät, aber in Deutschland leider unbrauchbar
Der Square Bluetooth-Kartenleser macht auf den ersten Blick einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck – kompakt, modern und sauber verarbeitet. Die Bedienung ist simpel, und technisch wirkt das Gerät absolut solide. Für den eigentlichen Zweck – kontaktloses Bezahlen per Karte, Apple Pay oder Google Pay – wäre es perfekt geeignet. Allerdings gibt es einen entscheidenden Nachteil: In Deutschland lässt sich das Gerät nicht registrieren oder aktivieren, was es hier praktisch unbrauchbar macht. Das ist besonders ärgerlich, wenn man es für den professionellen Einsatz gekauft hat. Optisch top, funktional leider ein kompletter Fehlkauf für den deutschen Markt.
