Works good for water not so good for liquids with some floaties such as juices. The handle is annoying do to open position looks like the closed position vise versa! Seal is good not leakage.

Decided to venture into homebrewing Beer. As we all know , it’s cheaper to make your own vessels than to buy the pre-made ones in store. Went to my local Menards and grabbed a 5 gallon bucket and a drill bit. Hollowed out a hole towards bottom of bucket tight enough for spigot to barely screw in. No leaks at all :) can’t wait to see how my homebrew turns out!

The spigot worked as itended, so I cannot complain. But, like some of the other reviews state, I can confirm it only came with one washer per spigot, and a different material than depicted. What is depicted is two, softer transparent rubber washers. What arrived was one washer per spigot, made of harder white rubber (you've really got to tighten this hard for this type of washer to form a seal). This wasn't a big deal for me as I have extra washers abound from other brewing projects and hardware. I also think for those with a straighter walled vessel, like a plastic Big Mouth Bubbler, this may not be an issue (the area under the graduated gallon measurements is pretty flat!). But if you have a curved vessel (like a plastic bucket), you might need to get an extra pair of washers at least, and put some muscle into making the seal.

Precisely what I wanted. a tap for a tub. Fitting is easy but YOU WILL REQUIRE A HOLE SAW AND POWER DRILL. I'm well pleased.
