Truly a great product and after trying both this budget friendly and expensive models, I can confidently say that I’m going to stick with this brand for any monitor needs I may have. Their customer service is excellent which makes all the difference as well! Easy installation, great audio and video quality. Battery quality is incredible and our units havent had any issues in over 2 years now. Have purchased other products from HelloBaby and will always suggest them to future parents. With great pricing and quality to match this product is a win.

We love this baby monitor and it has worked great for our family. I still use it everyday at almost 2 years old. The two cameras have been great too. As a newborn, used one for the bassinet and one for the crib. The video quality was great and I loved how much the camera could rotate and view the entire room. The monitor itself held a charge for a while, was very durable, and the range was far (even worked while in the backyard). The camera and monitor were really easy to travel with as well. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anybody!

Prior to finding this camera, my husband and I bought another brand for over twice the price of this one. That first one broke down after one too many times falling to the floor, so I went on the search for another option. We have been using this camera for about a year now and we love it! The HelloBaby HB6550Plus has a large screen so that the display can be seen from across the room. It also came with a mount to attach the camera to the wall, which was perfect. The night vision, sound, range of motion, and overall video quality were exactly what we needed. We love that it does not require wifi, and the monitor has a kickstand so that it can be moved anywhere in the house. The monitor also has a long battery life when disconnected from the power source, and is very durable so far. For the price, I think it can't be beat!

This camera has been incredible! I’ve used it now for about two and a half years and never had any problems. Super easy set up, great picture and sound quality, and so reliable! It’s easy to travel with as well, we’ve taken it on many vacations. Lastly, I love that it doesn’t use wifi! I’ve suggested this to many family and friends who feel the same way. You won’t be disappointed!

We love using this baby monitor! In fact, we liked it so much that we ended up purchasing two sets. Setting it up is easy -- connecting the camera to the monitor is quick and hassle-free. We like the privacy it offers; because it does not connect to the internet, we never have to worry about hacking or security breaches. It is portable and boasts a wide reach, making it great for travel. We carry it with us everywhere we go, and it always gives us peace of mind while monitoring our baby. The monitor screen itself holds a charge well, so we aren't constantly tethered to an outlet. Video quality is great; it has night vision (black/white), as well as full color in daylight. A Few Things to Note: Power: The camera unit does need to be plugged into a power source at all times to work (it is not battery-operated). Accessories: It doesn't come with mounting attachments, so you'll need to figure out your own placement or purchase brackets separately if you plan to wall-mount it. To top it all off, the tech support team is stellar. They are responsive, helpful, and truly care about their customers. I highly recommend this product and would buy it again.

This product worked well for 3 months then began making a strange static sound in the night. The sound wakes me up mid sleep and happens intermittently throughout the night. This is inconsistent and I have been unable to identify why it occurs. It is not dependent on battery life, if the monitor is plugged in or not, and is 100% not coming from my babies room. Update: the customer service is phenomenal. They reached out to me within days of my review, provided a full refund and sent a new one that should hopefully resolve the problems I have been having with intermittent static sounds. They were very personable and wanted to fix the issue quickly. I highly recommend purchasing from this brand as they will fix any issues you may have promptly! As such, I changed my review from a 2 to a 4 (only a 4 because I had issues in the first place).

I’ve been really happy with the HelloBaby monitor. The picture is clear, the audio comes through well, and it’s reassuring to be able to check on my baby whenever I want. It was easy to set up, the battery lasts a long time, and I haven’t had any issues with the connection around the house. Overall, it’s been a great purchase and definitely worth the price. There is no WiFi on it so you don’t have to worry about anyone hacking into the monitor. I’d recommend it to any parent looking for a reliable baby monitor.

This is the second time I order this monitor, because I accidentally broke the first one. I looked for other options but this has been the best. I tried hybrid cameras but they’re so unreliable, I was hesitant when first buying this since it’s Bluetooth only but it’s been perfect. The connection is strong, no buffering. I can sleep soundly while my baby is in his own room knowing I will hear him and can see him whenever he wakes up for a feed. Whenever I’m out and he’s being watched by the nanny, she can go all the way outdoors and the connection would still be solid. The only thing I prefer would be for the volume to be through buttons on the side instead of being on the screen only. Whenever my baby wakes up I reduce the volume immediately to avoid waking up my husband and it would be easier to do that with physical buttons.

I was specifically looking for a baby monitor that didn’t rely on an internet connection, since I didn’t want to keep my phone screen on constantly. This Hello Baby monitor solved that perfectly. The camera needs to be plugged into external power, while the monitor is rechargeable and holds charge for several days. It connects quickly and has been very reliable. The video quality is sufficient for its purpose, and the night mode works surprisingly well. There’s no noticeable lag in the video feed. The screen graphics do feel a bit low-resolution by today’s standards, but the image quality itself is clear enough for monitoring your baby, which is what matters. I do wish the pricing was a little lower and that there were more good non-Wi-Fi options available in the market. That said, for what it offers, this is a solid, dependable choice, highly recommended for parents who want peace of mind while finishing up chores.
