OtterBox Galaxy Z Fold5 Defender Series XT Case - Black, screenless, Rugged Hinge Protection, Lanyard Attachment, PowerShare and Wireless Charging Compatible

Light weight and is holding up pretty well so far. My phone feel from my pocket and tumbled down a hill. I knew my phone was broke. I knew it came out of the case. When it picked my phone up. It was protected by the case and it gripped it tight enough to hold on to it.it still works like it was new only have a few dings in the case.

I gotten so many cases and the issues with them are keeping the adhesive from separation of the case. This case consists of 3 pieces into 1 eliminates that. The hinge unfortunately is a little flimsy. Dropping the case did separate it but I just poped it right back on and continued with my day. I've been using otterboxes since the early days and will continue. I love this concept for our foldable. Please make it sturdy and when you do, just take my money. The case is super slim and 10 times better in the hand than others in the market. Love you Otterbox and I'll keep supporting as long as you promise to make a V2 of this case.

The seller was quick, but this Otter Box product is trash. The covers on the left and right half loose the lining that keeps it tight on the phone halves, the spine protection is cheap plastic that held out long enough for the return window to close. Since, the case halves keep trying to slide off or pop off. Also the charging port protector doesn't open very well and puts alot of stress on the charging cable. Makes you want to use a wireless charger if you have/purchase one. Compared to other Otter Boxes for regular brick phones or old flip phones, this design is trash. Find Ghostek or some other case as this one fails very prematurely. Was sitting in a Dr office and the phone slid from my Dickies phone pocket to the floor, about a foot drop, and the spine shattered. Not worth the hassle, so find another case.

After reading other reviews on this phone case I was skeptical on purchasing, anyways it's a great case plus they don't tell you after receiving this item you go to manufacturers website and order a holster for free, well nothing is free it's included in the price but nobody tells you that

The design and grip are amazing. However, it has broke already in the bend and this case wasn’t cheap. It does fit the phone well though.

Fit just like it should, my phone is now protected.

I've tried 3 cases for my fold 5 so far, the Otterbox is by far the most durable, which is my highest priority as I'm rough on my tech. Unfortunately, after just a day of use I’m finding the case very uncomfortable to hold. The edges are sharp and dig into my hands and fingers. The plastic quality must be low because some of those sharp edges were already getting scratched and burs were showing. The hinge protection looks really nice when the fold is closed and provides a good handle when its open, but when used it catches and sticks. Maybe with time it will operate more smoothly. To use the volume and power button you almost always need to open the fold slightly to fit your thumb between the case edges, very annoying. I would still recommend this case if you know you’ll drop the phone a lot and you don’t use the front screen very often. But for most people this is not a good fit. It's better than the UAG civilian case for sure but I put my Speigen case back on and returned this.

I'm on the fence with this.. the price of this case for the hinge to just snap off completely after the first time I dropped my phone with the case on, kind of pisses me off.. and that hinge is what covers the left side of the phone when it's closed.. so now I just have 2 halves of a case that are constantly sliding off both sides of the phone. I always otter box my phones.. but they really missed for this phone. Just a small gripe I have aside from that is I feel like the case makes the buttons too hard to get down to press, but not a big deal. The big deal is this was 90+ dollars and it snapped the first drop. It was less than 2 feet it fell.
