The Chrysalis Stone Selenite Stick 6" - 9"

First, to address some of the other reviews: YES, this is satin spar, but satin spar is still a type of selenite, and most selenite on the market and sought out by buyers is also satin spar. This is also very apparent by the product image. Secondly, YES, satin spar selenite is a very fibrous and fragile crystal, and can — and WILL — "shed" and leave little "splinters" and some shimmery dust in its path. This is simply to be expected. That aside... let me tell you what. I collect a lot of satin spar selenite, and this piece has the most breathtaking, dazzling shimmer out of any others in my collection that pictures simply can't do justice. This beauty measures up at exactly 10 inches, and from a metaphysical perspective, its energy is absolutely unreal and I can't wait to use it. The packaging it arrived in was probably the biggest downside. It arrived in a cardboard tube — the kind that posters are packaged in — and when I saw this, I became very worried that it would arrive broken. Thankfully this was not the case; this is a very thick and a sturdier piece of selenite and I wouldn't expect that it'd break from being bumped around in the confines of a thick cardboard tube. Lastly, the PRICE. $7 is more than fair for a long selenite stick like this — it's a steal. If you're looking to get a piece like this, choose this one.

I saw a few reviews I'd like to clarify. 1. Selenite is a fragile stone, it can dissolve in water too. Be careful and use it as a fine tool, although it sometimes breaks in two because you need separate tools for different purposes. 2. Satin spar selenite is SUPPOSED to be rough, it WILL splinter, it can cut you. Once more, be careful. 3. Don't let its fragility deceive you it's extremely high vibration and is the only stone I know that can reprogram quartz. One of many reasons it's heavily sought after. This wand was bigger than I expected and is extremely powerful. The vibration was higher than a naturally formed selenite wand I found. Definitely an awesome deal for a healer/magician/energy worker or shaman. I will not rate it badly because of splintering/the fact that it broke because that's part selenite. Take care of it. If it does break, it's still just as powerful. Great product, excellent deal, ships fast with careful packaging. I definitely will be buying another.

I ordered two and they came very quickly and packaged thoroughly. There was no way either of these was going to get a single chip! I was surprised at the size and quality of both of my crystals--they were both the max 9" long and pretty thick around. They definitely don't skimp! Selenite is obviously a softer crystal that cleaves easily. Any selenite you get in a raw form with have this problem and you’ll get all these little micro needles coming off. If you want to use them for any energy work and handle them like I did, I would recommend spraying them down with some sealer. I was a little paranoid to do this since I knew water could damage selenite, but I used an acrylic clear spray sealer without any problems. And now I can handle them with absolutely no flaking/splintering!! For anyone who is looking for selenite wands or rods this is a great buy and you certainly won’t be disappointed!

I really love this selenite stick. It came tightly packaged and did have a few splinters upon unwrapping, but that's fine as I don't handle it a lot as it sits on a small table near my other crystals. It is very beautiful and quite long and the quality is extremely nice. I am very happy with the purchase.

Selenite wands or sticks in my home are used for energy space clearing, meditation, energy healing or clearing bad energies or anxiety. For that purpose, they are good, although I will agree with other readers that they do tend to fall apart or have pieces that break off as part of their natural structure. I use them in my energy healings as I am a practioner, and I use them for those that I do readings on that have anxiety as it seems to help them ground their energy. Not for use by your bedside as they will keep you up at night, and keep them away from water because like salt, they will dissolve in it. good quality, but would have loved to have smaller sticks or wands that weren't as thick available.

This is definitely a great deal. I bought a 2 inch piece of tumbled selenite for $5 at a metaphysical shop. So recovering 8 inches of raw selenite is a win. There were a few chards but nothing that would splinter. After I cleansed my selenite wand I placed it with all my other crystals to charge, and when I picked out the selenite I immediately felt a clearing, I felt so much lighter. Not only that, I feel like the selenite amplified the other crystals. I will definitely be ordering a few more for a couple of my Earthy friends.

Waste of money. I don't see point in this

This crystal wand is beautiful! Mine was about 7 inches long and a little more than 3/4 inch thick. It is raw selenite, so it is not "polished", but that is one thing I like about it. Mine is NOT "rough" or "sharp" to the touch as some people were stating. My selenite wand has a nice energy flow... much needed during these tough times!

Loving it

Very thin, not worth 250Rs each. Less than 6 inches small. 6-9 inches are marketing gimmick.
