It works as described!! I only used it on 3030 aluminum extrusion by hand, the "teeth" are sharp and cutting in without too much force. M8 thread is precise!! Pack of (6) will last for longtime!!

They're more than a tad brittle but at the price it's an acceptable trade off. Just don't drop them

These are made of low quality metal, break easily (I didn't even get all the way through my 1st tap) and are not accurate. The m5 0.8 screws I have don't *quite* thread properly. They do with the crappy tap I have from Harbor Freight, so these aren't even that good. I guess I should have realized how good these wouldn't be based off the price. Avoid this company unless you really enjoy trying to remove broken taps.

Well made, cheap price. They last a long time unless abused but then its your fault if it breaks and not the tools :D

I should have read the description better. These are not steel and were subject to binding and breakage - I had to finish my job with steel after the first three of these snapped while adding the threads

Bought these to tap over 100 screw holes in aluminum. They hold up well for the price. Have not tried them on any other metal types.
