I had a piece of hurricane damaged tree come through the paper thin metal of my storage shed roof a while back. It's turning out to be impossible to get anyone to fix this, so I bought this to go under the hole inside and I also bought a cheap tarp to go over the hole on the outside. I had a couple of canopy weights up there on the tarp to keep it in place as well as tiedowns. Unfortunately, during a big storm one of the tiedowns came loose and somehow the weight ended up sliding down the roof and (of course) through the hole and landed in the drain tarp. I had used zip ties to secure the metal loops of the tarp to the rafters of the shed and when I first came in and saw the weight on the floor and the tarp hanging down I thought for sure it had ripped the loops out of the tarp. But no. The zip ties failed before the tarp did. So that was kind of impressive. It also shows that harbor freight zip ties are probably junk, but that's a different review. :-)

I use this tarp to fill my huge water softener container for the garden. Helpful during natural disasters to collect rain water for the toilet.
