Yes they are kind of flimsy. But they work perfectly. Does not include screws, you may need the type for your material you are mounting on. Not a perfect tight fit but my camera is not going to fall or drop.

This is made of plastic. I needed a replacement for mine because our house painters through the original mount in the trash without telling me. I was skeptical due to some reviews, but this worked perfectly. Even though it is made of plastic it still holds its shape and isn't flimsy. Just make sure to get some screws and anchors and you are good to go.
