I bought this to test our well water and it was very simple to use. Just dip the strip, wait a little, and compare the colors. The chart on the bottle makes it easy to understand the results. It gave me peace of mind knowing what’s actually in our water. I also like that it includes bacteria tests. For the price, it’s a great kit to have at home.

Edit: going from 2/5 stars for the faulty bacteria tests to 4/5 stars for the free and total chlorine amounts. They did a “light” chlorination on our system and these things have been amazing for testing out the water. I bought this to test our well water. The thin strips that test pH and water hardness are accurate. I found it easy to test and interpret results. I am giving this two stars, unfortunately, because the most important test which is bacteria, told me that I don’t have any… and I do. I had my well water tested by a water company, they called and told me I tested positive for total coliform. This is the non harmful bacteria which can turn into e. Coli which is harmful. I followed the instructions and at 48 hours, my test was negative. At this point I thought the water company may have been trying to sell me on a UV light so I bought a different bacteria test from Amazon. At the 36hr mark it was positive for bacteria. Had I just used and trusted this test, I would’ve had bacteria in my water and never done anything about it. Just warning others so the same thing doesn’t happen to you. Great product. The instructions were pretty easy to follow and self explanatory. Everything was also easy to set, and the results were also very instant.

I have been testing different sources of water and they all show the same results. Tap water, Spring water, Distilled water, etc.. the results all look the same. Avoid this product.

Seemed to work ok, will check again in Spring to see if any changes. Easy to use. Cheaper than what it costs for me to get water tested at hospital.

Mais Les bandelettes ne donnent aucun résultat il n’y a pas de différence avant et après l’installation de mon système de filtration petit conseil trouver un autre produit pour faire vos tests d’eau.
