– Spigen SafeView Privacy Filter Screen Protector for MacBook Air 13 inch (M5 2026 / M4 2025 / M3 2024 / M2 2022)

The Spigen SafeView privacy screen fits my MacBook Air 13" (M4 2025 / M3 2024) perfectly. It snaps on securely and doesn’t interfere with closing the lid or using the laptop normally. The privacy effect works really well, which means I can work on the train without worrying about anyone looking over. The clarity when viewing straight‑on is good, and the build quality is exactly what I expect from Spigen. A reliable, well‑made privacy filter that does its job properly.

Came well packaged, and comes with a nice hard sleeve to keep it safe in. You also get screen wipes, a small microfibre cloth, and dust removal stickers. The size and fitment is excellent. One side is matte, and one side is gloss. I am not sure if there is a "right way" to fit it, as it attaches via the magnet in both directions. So I guess if you like a matte finish you can get that, and if you like a more original glass like finish you can use it like that too. It is effective and works well. No complaints and expect nothing less from a company like Spigen!

Update: While the glass went on very easily and I was initially very happy with it, after receiving a covert to put it into it seemed that every time I picked up the laptop in the case it turned on. The protector, while very slim, is just too close to the keyboard when the little bit of flex of the lid is taken into account. So if your use case doesn’t involve taking a laptop anywhere then I’m sure it would work for you just not for me. Originally I wrote: It's early days but it seems like a great product and I would buy again if I need to. I bought this to protect the screen on my MacBook Air 13". I know from past experience that the grease from my fingers gets transferred to the screen via the keys I type on and it bugs me a lot. After trying to get a film screen protector on, I failed to get it straight and it had enough air bubbles to make it look like an aero, I scrapped it and went for glass. It's more expensive, sure, but it went on without a hitch; being rigid it's easy to line up and it stuck so quickly and easily that I thought for a moment I'd done something wrong. If there is a negative it's that it's not anti reflective but I didn't want it for that.

Just bought and fitted one of these to the new MacBook Air M3 13 inch. Yes, I did initially hesitate at the price. However, it's extremely easy to fit and most importantly; fits without any of those usual, annoying bubbles under the surface. I've fitted loads of screen protectors to countless Apple devices; this one is the outright star. Just one thing to note; spend a bit of time on the preparation. Clean the screen and use dab pad sticker to remove dust particles. The cleaner wipes and cloth etc are included with the product. As a final steer; I've discovered if you use a torch (perhaps iPhone one) and cast the light over the screen - prior to fitting - you will easily see any residual dust particles or 'rainbow' effect smudges that can be left behind after cleaning with the alcohol wipe. The torch light process will kill, stone dead, any bubbles from forming. The screen protector works in all light conditions and does not, in any way, compromise the clarity of the screen. Plus, no annoying bubbles. It's a goer. Highly recommend.

This product works well on the M3 MacBook Air 2024. I opted in for the glossy regular screen protector as I could not recommend paying £35+ for one having said that if you going to get a matt screen protector I would have to recommend it as my experience with the glossy one has been great. it allows me to fully close the lid with no issues and allows the computer to be put to sleep. It adheres well to the screen with good fitment as long as it's lined up correctly. and to achieve this I would definitely recommend reading the instructions. As it can be a bit of an odd experience due to being a very large screen protector. After having it on my device for a few day it has give added protect with minimal fuss with is good. I would definitely recommend it

Not often that you get to say this but - better than expected. Once applied, you can’t tell it’s there, so that’s great. But also - SO easy to apply! I was expecting to have to fight out some bubbles and so on, but nope - went on SO easily that I didn’t realise it was on, as it was 100% perfect. Wow!

Good for protection but you will see reflection on your screen.

Sul mio MacBook Air 2024 si è applicato perfettamente e fa il suo lavoro in modo perfetto. Contrariamente ad altre recensioni nel mio caso per mettere la chiusura senza creare nessuno spessore aggiuntivo. Ovviamente applicato bene all’interno della cornice del monitor.

Llevaba tiempo buscando un filtro de privacidad que fuera realmente efectivo y que no arruinara la experiencia de uso de mi MacBook Air, y este cumple con todo eso y más. Lo compré principalmente porque trabajo desde cafeterías y espacios compartidos con frecuencia, y la verdad es que nunca me había sentido del todo cómodo sabiendo que cualquiera podía ver lo que tenía en pantalla. La instalación es muy sencilla. Viene con un sistema de fijación magnética que se adhiere al marco del MacBook sin dejar marcas ni residuos, y se puede poner y quitar en segundos sin ningún problema. No hace falta alinear nada con precisión milimétrica ni preocuparse por burbujas como con otros protectores adhesivos. Un punto a favor enorme. En cuanto a la privacidad en sí, funciona exactamente como promete. Desde un ángulo frontal la imagen se ve con total claridad, pero en cuanto alguien intenta mirar desde un lateral la pantalla se oscurece completamente. He hecho la prueba varias veces y el efecto es muy efectivo, incluso en ángulos no tan extremos. La calidad de imagen desde el frente es buena. Hay una ligera reducción en el brillo, como es normal en cualquier filtro de este tipo, pero nada que no se compense subiendo un par de niveles la luminosidad. Los colores se mantienen fieles y no hay distorsión apreciable. Dicho esto, si trabajas mucho con edición de color o diseño gráfico es algo a tener en cuenta. El acabado mate es otro punto positivo inesperado: reduce considerablemente los reflejos, lo que hace que trabajar cerca de ventanas o bajo luz artificial sea mucho más cómodo. En ese sentido casi funciona mejor que sin el filtro. En resumen, es un accesorio bien pensado, de buena calidad y que cumple exactamente lo que promete. Para quien trabaja en espacios públicos o simplemente valora su privacidad, es una compra que merece la pena sin dudarlo.
