PERRIN License Plate Relocation Kit Compatible with Subaru WRX / STI 2018-2020, BRZ 2013 - 2020, Scion FRS 2013-16 and Toyota GT 86 2017-2020

I was skeptical about any relocation kit because I just bought a brand new (2024) base model WRX and wasn’t sure if any of them would fit a car so new but this does fit. It is a high quality made kit and looks really good. I recommend making sure to review the installation instructions even if you think you might know how to do it just by looking at it. At first, I thought mine wouldn’t fit but the instructions told me that some bending of the aluminum plate may be required. Sure enough, that’s what helped it fit. WARNING: it is an extremely close fit, at least for my car it is. If you try to install without bending first, it is possible to damage the paint so don’t be gung-ho at first. I’m an extremely happy with the finished product and would recommend to anyone looking for a relocation kit.

Perfect fitment as expected from Perrin. Absolutely beautiful anodizing and wrinkle powder-coating. Great instructions. One tip for installation to protect the finish of where you need to put your wrench: wrap the hex shank with some tape. That will keep it from getting scratched up. I used Kapton tape because it is thin and strong. Probably 10 layers. Any tape will work really. You can also sand down the sharp edges of your wrench or find an AN Fitting wrench that will fit. Just an OCD thing: I wish Perrin had a better solution for installing this without the potential for scratching it (their logo is lazer etched onto that hex shank...) such as having the hex shank at the car size versus the license plate side of the main shaft. That way, if you scratched it, it would not be seen since it is hidden inside the bumper. However this would require that you remove the bumper to install it.

I didn't want to drill my BRZ with the stock front license plate holder. I saw this one on two fine BRZ's in Oregon and looked into it. $81 is a lot for a holder but I got it a bit cheaper on Amazon. It's a nice setup. the machining of the parts is first rate, the instructions are good and easy to understand, this takes about 15 minutes to install and ANYBODY can do it. It looks generally pretty nice. You can decide to use stickers, or the Perrin license plate holder, or you can go basic and just mount the plate. Clean. It's worth it. Don't drill your plate into your front fascia, choose Perrin's solution instead.

This does NOT work with the 2022-2025 WRX and it was my mistake for buying the wrong model. I accidentally bought this and tried to install it, but the rod that screws in is about 3cm too short, so I have to return it. The model of this is , but the model my car and all 2022-2025 WRX (and probably 2026 too) is X-PSP-BDY-207.

It took only minutes to install, and it was easy. I torqued it per the installation instructions, it's very secure. My only issue is that it sticks out a bit and can't run my car through the car wash anymore, I will have to find a touch less wash. But otherwise it's great

Really easy to install and incredibly sturdy. There aren’t too many vendors who sell this on Amazon but this promises to get the job done. It’ll make your car look a lot cool too.

Love it. Install was easy, definitely use a torque wrench. The fitment is great, didn’t use any of the included spacers. It looks awesome.

The Perrin relocation kit replaces the ijdmtoy one that I had previously and is a huge leap forward in terms of quality. It's a straight forward installation and the shaft was long enough to clear the bumper on my 2013 FRS. Yes it's significantly more than the other guys, but this is a clear case of you get what you pay for. The included anti seize lubricant was an unexpected bonus. Use a little red thread locker to fix your plate and never worry about it moving again. It's been on the car a little more than 3000 Kilometers and it's been rock solid! Totally recommended.

Perrin license relocate arrived quickly, was easy to install, is well built and looks great. Company sent tracking details to me quickly upon request! Definitely impressed!

Truly a well designed product, the plate bracket is surprisingly strong and thick. Love the look on my FR-S!

It's needs a better way to space the license plate holder. The washers are a cheep way out.
