This is my review of Coowayze’s Unfinished Wood Dowels This company provides 18 different varieties of wood products, and I choose the 1/4 by 15 inch (0.6 by 38 cm) square wooden dowels. They came in a package of 50, and at an excellent price. First of all, I want to say that the quality of these dowels is excellent. They are made of pine wood, with no knots or blemishes that I can see. Plus, best of all they are perfectly straight. My use of these is in the construction of miniatures and dioramas. They are easy to work with, and I cut them on a miniature table saw. The cuts come out perfect without any shredding or splintering. And, because they are unfinished that take a stain or paint without problem. Kudos to a company that produces a quality product, and at a great price. I have included a few photos of projects I am currently working on.

These square dowel rods are completely straight and smooth with no warping. They don’t have splinters, and take acrylic paint very well. I’m going to use these as a jewelry rack after screwing metal hooks in - I need to drill pilot holes first because the wood is so dense. Overall these are great for high quality craft and home DIY projects that have to look nice, not sloppy.

I needed 1/8 x 1/8 square dowels that were straight and not warped. These were perfect for my project. Very impressive. I would definitely buy them again.

Delivery date was right on time..not warped at all..very nice wood..easy to cut and stain..highly recommend..

These rods cames straight and square. Even after a few weeks they did not warp or twist from humidity or drying. The length and cuts are even. the finish is good with no knots. The grain is very nice and these are suitable to use as is or stain. Great quality for projects. The cut well with a fine toothed saw and glued well with wood glue.

Good wood crafting dowels, I bought these for the bottom of my milk delivery box as I wanted to add feet the keep the wood off the floor and these worked perfectly , I did have to saw abit off but they were nice to use. These to me are multi purpose use and my next project is to use them for plastering back piece to help secure the screws then the plaster board which will make it more sturdy as they are strong enough for this task, not too thick but thick enough for a standard plaster screw to grip onto. The amount you get in a pack is also good as I can get a couple of random projects completed due to their size (30cm ) ish- I feel theyre good value for money
