can this be used in the sea?

I use it on a Sea Loch in Scotland but you have to be careful about the weather and tides. I bought an electric outboard as rowing can be heavy in sea conditions.

Is the pump a manual or cigarette lighter

Manual but I just just the compressor at the local fuel station

Can you use an electric pump?

Yes, that’s what we do in conjunction with a power adapter that plugs into the power socket in the car.

Would this be suitable for a 3 person river paddle over 50 miles?

If your asking if it would stay afloat, yes. I’m not sure how long 50 miles would take to travel, nor how comfortable the boat would be for prolonged periods. It is as it appears to be...a dingy.
