Brilliant! Called Dyson and was told they don’t supply any sort of official replacement button and would need to replace the whole wand which is ridiculous. This button goes on perfectly, only time will tell how durable it is but at least there are two supplied and a whole lot cheaper than buying a new wand

As a woman (strangely) (obsessively) (unnaturally) committed to vacuuming every day, I literally sobbed real tears when my little red connector broke on my Dyson. It wasn’t just an accessory. It was the MAIN stick. Like the most IMPORTANT part of my vacuuming life. I thought for sure I was going to have to beg for money to buy a whole new vacuum. But then I found these little red replacement connectors on Amazon!! OH MY GOSH! Friends. I cannot tell you the happiness and relief I felt! And the price?!?!? What a BARGAIN! When they arrived, I immediately ripped open the package like my constantly shedding dog tearing into a new toy, and — almost crying — I was easily able to connect the new red button. It fit perfectly! And it works just like the original! I have used my vacuum multiple times a day for a couple of weeks since installing the new red button connector thing, and it’s incredibly durable. I’m not a dainty vacuumer, especially during shedding season, and I have definitely put this red miracle to the test. All the thumbs up!!
