This is the first portable, bluetooth speaker that I have bought and it is excellent, I am very impressed. I wanted a speaker for indoor use only to play podcasts, live radio and music. The smaller the better. Inside the box is the speaker which has a strap already attached. There is also a charging cable and user guide. I began by charging the speaker which took around 2 hours. The speaker is small, well designed with controls along the side for power, bluetooth connection / pairing, hands free and volume. I turned on the speaker, then turned on my mobile bluetooth, initiating the pairing function and it found the Sony XB100 very quickly so I was able to pair the devices easily. The speaker does have a pairing button so if your device has an issue finding the speaker or connecting this may help with that. Playing a podcast and altering the volume I was impressed with the level it reaches. More than enough for indoor use. With music again there is more than enough volume and the quality is excellent with a decent bass level emitting from the speaker. The level of bass will vary depending on the type of surface used. Some reviews I read prior to purchase criticised the lack of volume however I am more than happy with the output when using indoors and I do not even have it at full. Sony states the battery being 16 hours usage however this will lessen based on the volume output. When the battery level is at 40% a small orange light flashes to warn you that the battery will require charging. The speaker also offers hands free use for mobile calls as it has a built in mic. I haven't used this yet and may never do so cannot comment. You can also purchase a second speaker and link them so that you experience a stereo effect. The speaker has an IP67 rating which means it is also waterproof and dustproof so using it in the shower / bathroom or when outside in certain environments it is well protected. If you are looking for a stylish, high quality, portable, bluetooth speaker I can definitely recommend the Sony XB100. **Since this review was posted I have purchased a second speaker so that I can link the two and experience stereo sound. You turn both speakers on. Then press the pairing button down for around 2 seconds on one speaker and a white light will be displayed under the button. Then repeat this on the second speaker. Once paired the first speaker announces it is the left then the second paired speaker announces it is the right. Together they sound great, at night when in bed I have both speakers sat on the frame just above and behind my head whilst streaming TV or film and they really do enhance the audio experience. When you have finished using them if you power off one speaker it automatically turns off the other paired speaker.

The batteries last for hours and sound quality is really good with a well balanced bass effect. Small neat and portable but loud enough for a large party. Remote control app works well on my phone although you don’t need it all the time. Great for use as a speaker phone for groups or meetings. The best feature, buy two and you can pair them for stereo! Tiny bit fiddly to set up stereo but well worth it and the manual is a good help. Once set up they stay set up and just work. Not supplied with a charger but standard USB power chargers are all you need. They do take a long time (hours) to fully charge but that suggests batteries will have a long life. Definitely recommend this price.

I have always been critical with what I buy. This is what everyone should get. The price is a bit too much but still I must give Five star for the quality and convenience , color, and brand. I have always admired how sony products are honest , straightforward and legit. The bass is amazing!!!!❤️ (as described by specs) the audio is crisp and clear. Durable and great quality for a little speaker. Fills up the whole living room. Must buy another one soon. Thank you.

he Sony SRS-XB100 is a great find, especially if you need a waterproof shower speaker. Cons: • Volume: It’s loud enough for the shower but quite low for other uses. Overall, the Sony SRS-XB100 does its job perfectly. I’d give it 5 stars if the volume were a bit louder, but it’s still a fantastic, compact speaker for the price. Its long battery life makes it an excellent choice for outdoor adventures and showers.

Bought 2 of these for both my daughters in different colours and they love them. Sound quality is good for such a budget priced speaker and better quality than others at a similar price. Great sound, great battery life, very portable. Can’t fault.

Ho avuto per alcuni anni il modello Sony SRS-XB13 durante i quali ho apprezzato l'alta qualità audio, la durata della batteria e la robustezza. Ho voluto comprare un altro speaker Bluetooth e ho voluto provare prima un modello quadrato cinese, bello, robusto, ma scarsa qualità audio (solo frequenze alte), l'ho reso subito. Poi ho acquistato un modello a forma di cubo di brand americano, anche questo molto bello, leggero (troppo) e delicato, ma anche qui qualità audio non adeguata (molte frequenze alte e poche basse) e quindi ho reso anche questo. Aggiungo che entrambe i modelli a mio avviso non erano BLE. Ho deciso quindi di spendere un po' di più e acquistare questo recente modello Sony SRS-XB100. Tutta un'altra musica!! Frequenze alte ben distinte, voci presenti e tante frequenze basse da far vibrare qualsiasi piano d'appoggio. Lunga l'autonomia della batteria. Aggiungo che questo speaker e' un vero BLE, con anche la visualizzazione del livello batteria nell'icona Bluetooth nel cellulare, oltre al fatto di poterlo rintracciare tramite app Google Find Hub. C'e' un'altra cosa da considerare come positiva in questo Sony Sony SRS-XB100, sia l'altoparlante che il diffusore passivo sono protetti, quindi non ci sono rischi di danneggiarli quando lo mettete nello zaino, a differenza degli altri speaker provati che avevano almeno un elemento esposto e quindi probabilmente danneggiabile. La potenza complessiva non e' tantissima, ma l'oggetto e' per uso personale a corta distanza, quindi assolutamente adeguato. Ultimo particolare, ma non meno importante, ha un ottimo microfono da utilizzarsi per le chiamate in viva voce. Consiglio questo Sony SRS-XB100 a chi cerca un'ottima qualità audio, costruttiva e software ben fatto. Lunga vita a SONY!

Cooler Lautsprecher, gute Klangqualität sowie Größe perfekt auch für unterwegs oder fürs Badezimmer. Preisleistung stimmt hier wunderbar. Nur zu empfehlen.

Excellente petite enceinte Bluetooth. Un son et des basses assez surprenantes au premier abord. Je m’attendais pas à ça à vrai dire. Au déballage, on voit que le produit est de qualité et solide. Esthétiquement elle est vraiment réussie, le design est soigné et les matériaux sont hyper agréables au toucher. Elle est assez discrète, et s’intègre parfaitement sur un meuble ou une étagère. La petite sangle est pratique, mais dans mon cas je l’utilise uniquement en intérieur, d’une pièce à l’autre, et non pas pour la transporter et la suspendre. Elle est parfaite pour cet usage en tous cas. Outre un super son qui est bien diffusé, l’autre point fort c’est évidemment son autonomie. 16h, c’est conséquent, je veux bien le croire, je n’ai pas calculé mais ceci dit la batterie n’est absolument pas un problème, elle dure bien assez longtemps sans avoir à se soucier de la recharger sans cesse. Un excellent produit, de qualité, aucun regret pour cet achat.

Altavoces ultraportátiles de 5W (el JBL 4,2W) Escuchad con auriculares y cada cual que elija. Volumen de los altavoces al 50%. Soundcore: muy equilibrado, de los 3 es el que menos bajos tiene pero suena más fuerte. Estéticamente es muy compacto y se ve resistente pero por materiales es el más “plasticoso”. Se puede poner vertical u horizontal ya que tiene 4 gomas en la parte trasera. Conexión rápida. APP Soundcore para ecualizar, quitar los sonidos de encendido y poco más. La batería dura muchiiiiiisimo, como en todos los Soundcore. Por precio es el más barato, por 22€ que lo he comprado está genial. Sony: es el que más bajos saca con diferencia. A máximo volumen los sigue manteniendo cosa que no pasa con el Soundcore ni con el JBL, que los pierden por completo. Solo se puede poner vertical pero tiene la correa más larga para poderlo colgar de cualquier sitio. Muy buena construcción, super resistente a los golpes. Conexión prácticamente instantánea, el más rápido de los 3. La APP para otros Sony tiene más posibilidades, para el XB100 se queda corta. Batería más que correcta con unas 14-16 horas dependiendo del volumen. Por precio rondando los 35-40€, tienes un altavoz espectacular y muy duradero. JBL: el sonido más redondo de los 3, muy buenos bajos para lo pequeño que es. Muy muy portable porque cabe en cualquier sitio o hueco de una maleta por muy cargada que vaya, incluso en un bolsillo de un pantalón. Esa pequeña diferencia de 0,8W menos se nota ya que saca un pelín menos de volumen pero más que suficiente para un salón (siempre y cuando no haya un atajo de escandalosos berreando como ciervos en celo). Posición vertical u horizontal gracias a las gomas posteriores. Supercompacto y con materiales de primera, muchísimo mejor que el Go3, que se le despegaban todas las gomas. Conexión rápida, como el Soundcore. APP escasa, ligera ecualización y quitar tono de encendido-apagado y poco más. Batería muy muy corta: 5 horas raspás. El más caro de los 3, quizás pagas la marca pero te llevas un altavoz supercompacto que suena de miedo. El Sony es el único que muestra la batería restante en el móvil o tablet enlazado. Soundcore y JBL tienes que verlo en la aplicación o esperar al parpadeo de la luz. Personalmente si me tuviera que quedar solo con uno: Sony XB100. Incluso en exteriores no muy ruidosos se desenvuelve a la perfección. Son 5W, recuérdalo…
